Stronger Than Your Enemies Part 4: Children Of Conquerors.
Thank You Father.
Hallelujah.
(Tonight, before you begin to praise Him, there is a great danger in getting too familiar with God. Because we are so used to miracles, signs and wonders; we are beginning to take them for granted and these things don’t happen everywhere.
If you are the man who woke up in the morning, thinking that your wife is asleep and suddenly you discover she is not asleep, she is dead and then you remember that the servant of God said last month that the dress you wore (because some of you did not take that word seriously) that the dress you wore that night has been specially anointed.
And you got that dress and somehow rap it round her because by now she is stiff and you are on your way to the hospital and on your way to the hospital your wife came back to life.
I thought, I thought that at that stage if that is the only testimony we heard, at that stage when sudden on the way to the hospital he said my wife came back to life, I thought we will all stand; I thought we will all begin to praise God, I thought we will be begin to glorify Him.)
Why don’t you praise Him?
What He is doing in our midst is not done everywhere else in the world.
Why don’t you praise?
Why don’t you give Him glory?
Why don’t you give Him adoration?
Why don’t you bless His holy name?
Why don’t you bless His holy name?
Give Him glory
Let Him hear your voice;
Let Him hear you praise Him.
Magnify His holy name
If you have ever seen anybody involved in a fire accident, you know that even with all manners of surgeries, everything won’t become the same again;
But this same God, this God, this God, this Almighty that we serve; the One who gave Naman brand new skin proves Himself again, defeated fire.
This same God praise Him.
Give Him glory, give Him honour, give Him adoration.
He is worthy, He is worthy, He is worthy to be praised, He is worthy to be adored, He is worthy to be magnified.
Praise Him

Praise Him for all the mighty testimonies we heard tonight.
People who had been barren for seventeen years; waiting on the Lord for seventeen years and suddenly the answer came.
O think about the woman who thought I was pregnant and now it does not seem as if I am pregnant and then one problem after the other but the Almighty came through
Praise Him
Glorify His holy name.
He can do all things.
Let Him hear your praise.
Let Him hear you glorify His holy name.
Let Him hear you glorify His holy name.
Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have worshipped.
Brethren I want us to thank God for all the girls that have been released; all those girls that these criminals took; It takes the power of God to get girls out of the jaws of lion.
Why don’t we lift our voices to Him and say: thank You, thank You Father; thank You.
If you are a father, you know what it means if your daughter have been kidnapped, taking hostage by boko haram, you know what that means that the Almighty God brought these girls back; Let us bless the name of the Lord. Let us give Him glory, let us give Him honour, let us give Him adoration. Thank You Lord. Thank You for bringing these girls back. We praise You, we adore You; we magnify Your holy name. Blessed be Your holy name Daddy. Thank You for answered prayers. Thank You for answered prayers. Thank You for answered prayers Lord. Blessed be Your holy name.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
And now, let us lift our voices to Him and say: Father, every one of the girls still in captivity, please, bring them home soon.
Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.
He knows where they are, He has the ability to bring them back, He can do what nobody else can do; call on the Almighty God and say please help us. Bring every one of them back, every one, everyone in captivity, bring them back O Lord; bring all of them back, bring all of them back. Thank You Father.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
I am going to read to you Isaiah chapter 54, I am reading from verse 13 to 15 but I will read verse 13 first and then you will pray.
It says: And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Please, lift your voices to the Almighty God and say: Father, let the peace of my children be great.
Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.
Please Lord, I commit all my children into Your hands; my biological children, my spiritual children, my children in the ministry, please Lord, let my children enjoy great peace; let the peace of my children be great. Thank You Father.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
And in verse 14, it says: In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and you shall be far from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Lift your voice to the Almighty and say: Father, as for me and my children, keep terror far away from us.
Please, open your mouth and pray; open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.
Keep terror far away from me and my children, don’t let terror come near me, don’t terror come near my children; don’t let fear come near me, don’t let fear come near my children; please Lord, don’t let my children be kidnap; don’t let there be any evil coming near me or my children, please Lord, fulfill Your promise. Thank You Father.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
And then verse 15 says: Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Lift voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, anyone who gathered together against me and my children, let them fall.
Go ahead, open your mouth.
It is God who promised, it is God who promised; all those who will we gather against me, who will gather against my children, who we will gather against the children of God, let them fall Daddy, let them fall for my sake, let them fall, let them fall, let them fall, let them fall; let them fall, all those who are gathering together or on a plan to gather together against me, against my family, against Your church, against Nigeria, let them fall, Almighty God let them fall; let them fall for my sake; let them fall because You are my God, let them fall; Father don’t let them stand. Thank You Father.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
I want you to pray for all those who are barren because you heard the testimony of a lady who said when will I come when they are having children meeting like this?
And now she is here.
Cry to the Almighty God and say: Father, everyone who may be here tonight or listening to us anywhere, who may be consider barren, by this time next year, let them come with their children, let them come with their children.
Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.
They may be your relatives, they may be your friends, they may be people you don’t even know; all those who are considered barren Lord God Almighty, please Daddy, by this time next year, let them come with their children; let them come here too with their children; please Daddy, open their wombs and glorify Your holy name.. Thank You Father.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Now I want you to pray this prayer if you want to; this one is not compulsory.
I want somebody to lift his or her voice and say: Father, from tonight, let my days of glory begin.
Go ahead, if you want to pray, pray the prayer.

Thank You for all the girls that were released, thank You because the others will also be release, please accept our worship in Jesus’ name. Father we are all Your children, we parent as well as our children, we are children in Your hands, You have been before the mountains, we are all very little children in Your hands, tonight Father, let our peace be great; keep terror far away from us and all those who may gather against our family, scatter them all. From this moment onward my Father and my God, every reproach, every shame, in our lives, in our families, bring to an end; let our glories begin. Thank You my Father and my God. Tonight, do marvelous things, save souls, heal the sick, set the captives free; let there be mighty testimonies.

Shake hands with one or two people and say God is going to bless you and bless your family.
And then you may please be seated.
I want to spend few minutes talking to those who are yet to surrender their lives to Jesus, so they can do so; so they don’t miss the blessings of tonight.
“Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.”
That is another way of saying like father like son.
Or, like mother like daughter.
In fact the elders have a saying, they said, instead of things getting better for woman who happens to be a witch, all her children are girls, they said, witch craft is being multiplied.
In other words, they say that if the mother is a witch and she has a daughter, if you are a sensible boy, don’t marry that daughter.
Because if we are to believe the elders, when mama is about to go, she will pass the thing unto her daughter.
Like mother like daughter; like father like son
Jesus put it in another way in John chapter 8 verse 44 and He was talking to the Pharisees:
He said, you are of your father the devil and the will of your father you will do.
So, if the children are going to be blessed, we need to do something about the parents.
James chapter 1 verse 17 says: God is the Father of lights; It says, every good and perfect gift come from above; come down from the Father of lights.
And Matthew 5 verse 14: Jesus say we are the lights of the world.
That means, if the father is light, he gives back light.
The implication of that is that if the father is darkness, he is likely to give birth to darkness.
If the father is blessed, like I told those who came to divine encounter on Monday, because blessing flow like a river downstream;
If the father is blessed, the children automatically are going to be blessed.
Genesis chapter 28, if you read from verse 10 to 16 (Genesis 28:10 to 16): God said to Jacob, I AM the God of your father Abraham that is why I am going to bless you Jacob.
If the father is blessed, the son will be blessed.
If the father is cursed, God have mercy on the children, because curse also flows down like a river.
For example, 2 Kings chapter 5 verse 20 to 27, Elisha said to Gehazi, the leprosy of Naaman will cleave unto you and unto thy seed forever.
Science is beginning to discover that if there is any particular sickness or disease in a father, sooner or later is going to show, either among the children or the grandchildren.
It will interest to know that African elders knew this long ago.
You go to a family, you say you want to marry their daughter, they will say go, we have heard.
Go, come back for an answer.
Why do they ask you to go?
So that they can go and verify your family;
They want to find out, had there been a leper before in the family, has there been a madman before in the family.
Because they know sooner or later this thing will show up again.
Our parent did not go to the University but they are deep in knowledge.
That is why I tremble for this young generation who want to marry on facebook.
You marry on facebook, you never can tell what else would come with thing you are marrying.
If the father is cursed unless something is done about that curse, the children are in trouble.
If the parent is one of the people God calls wicked and that is a sinner – the one who is not born again – as far as God is concern, he is considered wicked.
Then according to Psalm 7 verse 11, the Bible says, God is angry with wicked every day.
If God is angry with parents every day, what do you think is going happen to the children?
But David said in Psalm 27 verse 25, he said, I was young, now I am old; I have not seen the righteous forsaken or is begging bread.
If the parents are of the Lord, one way or the other, God will always supply their needs.
If the parents belong to the Lord, there is no way the children will end up begging for bread (that is the word of God and it is forever settled.)
Of course, the parents could be blessed and the son or daughter could decide I don’t want to go the way of my parents;
I don’t want their God to be my God;
I don’t want to serve their Jesus;
I want to do things in my own way.
In that case, God will move that fellow away from the line of blessing.
If the family is cursed and somebody in the family decides to move to the side of the Lord, God will move him away from the line of curses and he will begin to enjoy the blessings of the children of God.
So, tonight, make a choice.
Will you want to be among those that God is angry with on a daily basis?
Or, you want to be one of those people who you are sure God will never forsake him and his children will never beg for bread?
The choice is yours.
What is involved in giving your life to Jesus Christ is so tremendous;
It makes a lot of different between life and death, curses and blessing and it makes a lot of difference concerning your children coming after you.
So, if you are here tonight and you have not yet surrendered you life to Jesus, I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ;
If not only for your sake but for the sake of your children, come and surrender your life to Jesus.
Because God is angry with the sinner every day
But He will never forsake the righteous and his children will never beg for bread.
If only for the sake of your children, come and surrender your life to Jesus Christ.
And as for you children, nobody is ever too young to decide for Jesus Christ.
If you give your life to Jesus even if there is curse in your family, that curse will miss you.
So, come and give your life to Jesus now.
I will count from one to ten.
Before I say ten, if you want to give your life to Jesus, you come and stand before me here.
And those of you in the old arena, you go and stand before the altar; there are men of God there waiting to attend to you.
Before I say ten; I am counting now.
One, two,
If only for the sake of your children, come and give your life to Jesus; let Him remove every curse on you and on your family.
And if you are a child, come and give your life to Jesus, so that in case there is a curse in your family, the curse will miss you.
Three, four, five,
When you give your life to Jesus, you have joined the family of God and the family of God is blessed.
Six, seven, eight, nine,
Now, those of you who have already come and those of you on the way, talk to the Lord now: ask Him to have mercy on you; ask Him to please save your soul. Tell Him you have come to surrender your selves to Him that He should please receive you and bring you into the family of God. Begin to pray even as you are coming, call on and say: Lord, have mercy on me; save my soul, I will be Yours forever, I will live the rest of my life for You. Talk to the Lord.
And the rest of us, please, let us stretch our hands to our new brothers and sisters to intercede for them that God who saved our souls will save their own souls also; pray that God will wash them clean with His powerful blood so that the anger of God will longer be on them. Pray for them brethren.
Those of you on the way just keep coming; make sure you get here before I finish praying. You have to be here within the next two minutes because I am about to pray. Let us intercede for them brethren. Pray for them that God will have mercy on them; will save the soul of the parents, save the soul of the children, save the soul of everyone who have come to Him today – whether they are here, in the old auditorium or anywhere else in the world – that God will receive them and have mercy on them and save their souls. Thank You Father.
Now, if you are still on the way you have to hurry up, just make sure you get here before I finish praying.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Saviour I just want to thank Your name; I want to give You all glory and honour for Your word and for these people who have come forward to surrender their live to You; please remember Your promise that whosoever would come unto You, You will in no wise cast out; they have come to You now Father, please receive them in Jesus’ name. Every sin they have ever committed my Father and my God, wipe it away with Your blood; save their souls; write their names in the book of life; receive them into the family of God; and Father, from now on, anytime they call on You, please answer them by fire and cancel every curse on them in Jesus’ name; please Lord let them serve You till the end.

I am rejoicing with you because from now on by God’s grace I will be praying for you.

Let us open our Bible to Isaiah chapter 8 verse 18 (and I believe this passage is written for me):
“Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion”
I decree that concerning every one of you listening to me now, you and your children will be for signs and for wonders.
A child of conqueror should be a conqueror.
The day an elephant is born, a baby elephant, a day old, is already bigger than a goat.
A day born is very bigger than the biggest of goats.
I am decreeing in the Name that is above every other name, your children will be far stronger than all their enemies.
Because of time, I will very quickly go through my sermon; I won’t break in between to ask you to pray, you will pray at the end.
Because I want us to get to the anointing section very quick because there is quiet a crowd here and even almost a bigger crowd at the old arena.
I am going to talk about few children of conquerors and how they came out stronger even than their parents.
Because whether the devil likes it or not in the Name that is above every other name your children will be greater than you.
Let us start with Isaac:
His father rose from nothing to greatness.
Abraham was not anyone special until God called him in Genesis 12 verse 1 to 3.
All of a sudden he just came onto the scene and God said to Abraham, obey Me then I will bless you.
By the time we get to Genesis 24 verse 34 to 35, the servant of Abraham said, I am Abraham’s servant and the Lord has blessed my master greatly.
Every one of you who are already in the Lord, who are parents here today, the Lord will bless you greatly.
But his son Isaac was greater than him.
In Genesis 26 from verse 12 to 14, in spite of the economic situation in the land, Isaac became very great; he was greater than his father.
He conquered feminine; he conquered persistent failure and defeat
In Genesis 26 verse 19 to 22, as he was digging wells, as soon as he dug the well, enemies came and took the well away from him.
He will dig another one they will come again and take away the well from him.
They kept on attacking him but he overcame.
Every force attacking your children will be scatter from tonight.
He was child of joy; he conquered sorrow in him family – Genesis 21 from verse 1 to 6
He was child of laughter.
There was sorrow in the family before he came; when he came, it was laughter all the way.
Because of your children in the Name that is above every name, sorrow will become a stranger to your family too.
Isaac was a child of multiplied blessing – blessing in the family just kept on multiplying.
If God can do it for Isaac, He can do it for any child.
It is possible for your child to be far far greater than you: Physical child, spiritual child; it can happen.
Years ago we normally, around July, we go to America to go Kenneth Hagin camp meeting.
I have told you the story before of how the first time I met him and I saw the beautiful things God was doing; I insisted that he must pray for me and he did.
By the time he died and they were doing his funeral, they announced that during his life time, more than six thousand students graduated from his Bible College and the people clapped.
I said, God thank You; thank You for a great father.
But in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, every year, more seven thousands students graduate from the Bible College every year.
I pray for everyone here today, your children will be greater than you.
Well, as one of my children will say, if your amen is louder than that of your neighbour then the prayer will be for you.
Let us consider Joshua:
His spiritual Dad was Moses and Moses was great, no doubt about that.
Moses delivered the whole nation out of captivity – Exodus 12 from verse 1 to 4.
Moses split a sea into two just by raising his hand – Exodus chapter 14 verse 1 to 28.
Moses turned bitter water to sweet – Exodus 15 verse 22 to 26.
When the children of Israel got to Marah and they could not drink the water because it was bitter
God showed Moses what to do, he did it and the water became sweet.
Moses produced something out of nothing: he brought water out of the rock – Exodus 17 verse 1 to 6.
Moses was great but Joshua was greater; he did much more than is father.
For example, he succeeded where his father failed.
In Joshua chapter 1 verse 1 to 8, he was the one that God said, okay, Moses did not get the people to the Promise Land but I will do it through you.
He was the one who was fighting in the valley when his father was on the mountain top praying – Exodus 17 verse 8 to 13.
He was the one who led the people to shout and the wall of Jericho came down in Joshua chapter 6 verse 1 to 20 – that was Joshua.
But as great as Moses was, there was something that Joshua did that Moses never did.
He stopped the sun – Joshua chapter 10 verse 12 to 14.
It was Joshua who said to the sun, sun stay where you are because I have a business I am still doing for God.
Moon, remain where you are;
And they obeyed him.
It was Joshua that God used to finally fulfill the destiny of Moses.
Because what God told Moses when He was sending him to Egypt was you will go and bring the people and they will come and serve Me on this mountain.
Moses could not get the people into the Promise Land but Joshua did.
There is a destiny for you parents that might not be hundred percent fulfilled while you are still in this world, but in the Name that is above every other name, because of your children, all your destiny shall be fulfilled.
I told you what happen the first time we went to America with my father-in-the-Lord.
A preacher came down from the pulpit and stood in from of him and said: what God promised you is about to be fulfilled.
And I asked papa later on because he could not understand English and he said what did the man say?
And I said, he said what God promised you is about to fulfill it.
What is it that God promised you?
And the old man began to cry.
When I started; when He called me to start this church, He told me the church will go around the whole world; now I am about to die and the church is still within Nigeria.
But God had already prepared a son who will take over from him
And today by God’s grace, that church is in more than one hundred and ninety nations of the world.
There is a promise God made concerning you and your family; even if there are not hundred percent fulfilled while you are here, they will be fulfilled through your children.
I am sure some of you will say, are there promises He had made to you sir that you are not even sure will fulfilled why you are here?
I am not so sure, I am trying my best, I am running as hard as I can;
But I know one of the visions of the Redeemed Christian Church of God if Jesus tarries that in every family of the world, every family of the world, there must of at least a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
I know that is going to come to pass.
And I believe He is going to use some of you to make it come to pass.
Let me take another example.
Take the example of Samuel:
Thank You Father.
The Lord says there is somebody here tonight, He says you will understand, He asked me to tell you, I have not finish with you, I AM just starting.
If you are the one let me hear your amen loud and clear.
Thank You Father.
The Lord says there is someone here tonight, someone listening to me either here or you are hearing somehow, He said, the Doctors have told you your case is irreversible; Daddy asked me to tell you, I will prove them wrong.
Consider Samuel:
Samuel was the son of a prayer warrior:
Her mother could pray – 1 Samuel chapter 1 verse 9 to 10.
Thank God for parents who can pray.
She prayed.
Her mother was a partner of a covenant keeping God;
Because in 1 Samuel chapter 1 verse 11 to 20, she made a covenant with God: give me a son and I will give him back to You.
The mother was a warrior, a partner of a covenant keeping God and then, she produced Samuel.
Haa, the prayer warrior produced a king maker.
The first king in Israel was anointed by Samuel, the son of a prayer warrior – Samuel chapter 10 verse 1 to 9.
The second king in Israel was anointed by Samuel – 1 Samuel chapter 16 verse from verse 1 to 13.
This same Samuel, just to show how powerful he was, was not just a king maker, he was a king remover – 1 Samuel 15 verse 16 to 29.
When he said to a king, your kingdom is over, it is over.
A king tore his dress, he said, haa, you tore my dress, you kingdom is tore.
Powerful
He was a man of decrees, when he spoke, it happens – 1 Samuel chapter 3 verse 19 – the Bible said, God did not allow the word of Samuel to fall to the ground.
He was a man of decrees – he will just decree and it will happen.
But then, there is something very very special about Samuel, he was a Prophet and I like that.
I mean, he was a Prophet – 1 Samuel chapter 3 verse 19 to 21
He was not one of those people who will say: haa, thus saith the Lord, it is going to rain and they are prophesying in June in Nigeria; they know that it is the raining season.
He was not one of those prophets who would come to you and say: thus saith the Lord, you have two cars, you must give one of them to me.
He is not that kind of rubbish prophet; he was a prophet who call things not as it they were; who can prophesy and it will come to pass.
Because true prophesy when they come they sound impossible.
I give you an illustration very quickly what prophesy is like and to encourage somebody in particular tonight; because every impossibility in your life will become possible.
Years ago, there were three people contesting for the presidency of this nation: Aminu Kano, Abiola and Tofa.
And I was just minding my own business; just praising God, praying; when of a sudden God spoke to me
Now I am not claiming to be a prophet but I hear from Him once in a while
And God said son, in the coming election: the winner is the loser; the loser is the winner and the most fortunate of them all is Aminu Kano.
Haa! what is the meaning of this?
I knew what He told me and I knew His voice
And I have good news for you, He told me that those of you who are here tonight, it is going to be well with You.
I don’t say God said if He has not spoken
It does not make sense to say that the dress you were wearing last Holy Ghost service has become special but He said so; and if He said so, it is so.
I thank God we are hearing testimonies.
Before the election, Aminu Kano died.
So how do we join this to what God has said?
And then we had a meeting and at that time I was president of the PF (Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria)
And then all the PFN had a meeting at the Tafawa Square and the leaders came to me and said who are we going to vote for because we have: Abiola is a Muslim, Tofa is a Muslim.
We are Christian, who are we to vote for?
I said, well, you will go and vote according to your conscious but neither of them is going to reign.
Haa, they said come on now, when you toss a coin, it is either head or tail.
Two people are contesting, one has to be winner and the other will be a loser.
I said, Daddy said, the winner is the loser; the loser is the winner.
Well, you know the rest of the story.
Abiola won the election; did he ever reach the throne?
The one who lost end up laughing
This man who won ended up in prison.
Me they say I lost, at least I am in my house.
The winner is the loser, the loser is the winner; the most fortunate of them is the one who was not even around to see the mess.
I decree the Name that is above every other name, in the Name of the One who called me, from now on, no more shame for you.
Let us consider David:
Don’t worry I will soon round up.

The says there is a woman here (and every one of us listen carefully), the Lord says there is a woman, He said today you are childless, He said but one day you need more than one car to bring your children to this meeting.
Now, the reason I am asking you to listen is so that when she comes to testify, you will remember that God said so.
Now, David, his father was a conqueror.
How?
Because his father was chosen – 1 Samuel 16 verse 1
God said to Samuel why are you mourning for Saul, I have rejected him; fill your cup with oil or your horn with oil and I will send you to the house of Jesse the Bethlehemite because in his house have provided me a king.
Of all the houses in Israel, God choose the house of Jesse.
I am going to be liberal; I am going to say if God chooses ten houses for special blessing in this nation, may your house be one of them.
Jesse was specially chosen by God and one of his children his David.
If we talk about David; if we talk about conqueror, you know he was a giant killer – 1 Samuel 17: 34 to 51 – He killed Goliath.
He destroyed the one who had been terrorizing a whole nation.
He was demon tamer, when David sang, demons go to sleep – 1 Samuel 16 verse 15 to 23.
Not only was he a giant killer, demon tamer, he was even a producer of mighty men –
1 Samuel 22 verse 1 to 2 – a lot of hopeless people gathered themselves to David and he became their captain.
Later on in 2 Samuel 23, you can read from verse 8 to 39 (2 Samuel 23 verse 8 to 39), David turn those vagabonds to mighty men.
And when the Bible says mighty, it means mighty.
And there are a lot of things I like about David, he was a poet – I love him a lot.
The Bible calls him the sweet psalmist of Israel – 2 Samuel 23 verse 1
He was a composer; a song writer; a good singer.
Of course he was a king you know about that, when we call him, we call him King David – 2 Samuel chapter 5 verse 3.
But he was also a Prophet.
A poet, composer, king, prophet;
Because the three mightiest prophesies about the Lord Jesus Christ came through David:
Psalm 22 verse 1: my God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?
And he was not talking about himself; he was talking about the Lord Jesus Christ, what will happen when he hung on the cross.
Psalm 23: the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want…
He was talking about the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ today.
Thousands of years before Jesus was born.
Psalm 24 verse 7 to 10: lift up heads o ye gate, be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors that the King of Glory may come in…
He was talking about the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Three mighty prophesies.
Jesus in the first coming;
Jesus present ministry;
Jesus in the future
But not only that, David became the father of the King of kings himself – Mark chapter 10 verse 46 to 52 – Bartimaeus called him Jesus thou son of David.
He called the King of kings the son of David.
You might be small today, unknown, but through your children you can be known throughout the world.
At least one of your children can become so mighty that where you never never thought you could reach, He will take your name there.
My father was a Lay Reader in the Anglican Church and I am talking about 1940-something.
Now, if you know anything about Anglican Church, you know the Lay Reader is below the Catechist; the Catechist is below the Reverend, the Reverend is below the Canon; the Canon is below the Archdeacon; the Archdeacon is below the Provost; the Provost is below the Bishop and the Bishop is below the Archbishop.
And even the Archbishop in one nation is below the Archbishop of Canterbury – the biggest one.
My father was a lay reader but today by the special grace of God his son and the Archbishop of Canterbury are working together hand in hand for evangelism in Britain.
By the special grace of God, I don’t want to announce it in public, but there is an agreement between the Archbishop of Canterbury and the son of that Lay Reader on what they can do to bring Britain back to Jesus Christ.
I hereby decree that where you never can reach your children will take your name there.
O thank You Father.
I want to take just one more example and then we will round up.
But, the Lord says there is someone here today and this is real good news; He said regardless of household enemies, I will take you to where I plan to take you.
Now, I want to talk about Elisha:
You know that is my friend, there is no way I can forget that one.
You know his father – when I say father, I am talking about his spiritual father – Elijah.
Elijah was a mighty conqueror.
I want to say amen to this one.
Daddy says there is someone here today, He said tonight mark a major turning point in the history of your family.
And Daddy is talking to someone; He says there is a Joseph already in your family, you will recognize him soon.
Now, Elijah, you know Elijah, he was a mighty man of God; far far stronger than his enemies.
He could shut the heavens: 1 Kings chapter 17 verse 1, he told Ahab, you unless king, I close the heavens until I ask for it no rain and immediately the heaven was shut.
He was a food multiplier: 1 Kings 17 verse 8 to 16, he multiplied the food of the widow just by saying so.
He was death chaser: 1 Kings 17 verse 17 to 24, he chased death out of the house of the widow.
He was a fire commander
(I am talking of Elijah)
1 Kings chapter 18 verse 30 to 39, he prayed and fire fell from heaven.
And he was an enemy roaster
I like that one.
2 Kings chapter 1 verse 9 to 12, some enemies came to arrest him and he roasted them.
But, what about Elisha
He was a young man with the double anointing which will explain why we are doing anointing service tonight.
He was a man who can just say a word and causes a destroyed –2 Kings chapter 2 verse 19 to 22.
He was a destroyer of poverty, Elisha was.
That is the kind of children you should have in the home.
You know there are some children, the moment they come into a house blessing will just begin pour in.
2 Kings chapter 4 verse 1 to 7, a widow was destitute and she came to Elisha and Elisha said don’t worry, your debt will be paid and you won’t even have to borrow again.
He was commander of commanders.
Naaman came to him, he did not even bother to go and see him; he said, tell him to go and jump in river Jordan seven times and he will be healed and the commander had to obey.
And he was arrester of the arresters.
2 Kings chapter 6 verse 8 to 23, they sent a whole army to arrest him, he arrested them all.
And kings call him daddy – 2 Kings chapter 13 verse 14.
Even after he died, there was enough power left in his dead bones to raise the dead – 2 Kings 13 verse 20 to 21.
Haa, this is serious one.
The Lord says there is someone here, He said the one who is teaching your child to steal will be expose this month.
I want to say thank You Father for this one because it is for, I mean you will understand.
Daddy said to me just now; He said, son, all those who are genuinely treating you as a daddy will be specially blessed.
I think you should thank God for me.
Thank God for me.
I think you should thank God for me.
So, we were talking about Elisha, his father was a terror to kings; he was a daddy to kings.
I have said it before, it is powerful thing, a great thing to be able to roast your enemies and some of these enemies deserve roasting.
We prayed a prayer here; I know nobody would want to admit that prayers walk.
But we prayed a prayer here if you will remember that those who are keeping our girls in captivities won’t be able to rest; that the fire of God will begin to burn them.
Well, they are going to say they negotiated and that is why the victory came but I know my God is at work.
And I am still going to say again, all those who are holding my girls in captivity the fire of God will continue to burn them until they release them all.
But it is far far better if instead of roasting them they can come and surrender.
How beautiful will it be if the head of boko haram should become a Christian?
How beautiful will it be if in a couple of month now he is stands there at the altar and he says this is me, I used to be a terrorist, now I want to be a pastor?
If you hear that testimony will you rejoice?
Elisha had that kind of anointing.
And that is why tonight we ask all our children to come for anointing because the anointing makes the difference.
It was anointing that gave Samson the power to tear a lion into two.
Judges chapter 14 verse 5 to 6, when you read that story seating down in the church, we don’t get the full impact
I have told you before, the first time I saw a lion it was at a zoo, I think it was in Kano.
It was a huge one; alone in the cage; the cage was long and the bars were strong.
And we all move close to the cage when that thing is walking away, we came near the cage.
But when he got to the end of the cage and turned, every one of us, anointing or no anointing will move back; that is what a lion is like.
Then, when the anointing came on Samson, he grabbed that thing and tore it into two.
The anointing to destroy lions shall come upon you tonight and shall come upon your children tonight.
In Judges 15 verse 11 to 15, household enemies bound Samson and they handed him over to external enemies;
And there are some of us we have enemies all over: enemies from our father side, enemies from our mother side, enemies in husband house, enemies in the wife house, enemies in the place of work;
So of us wonder, why am I the only one here?
The enemies within handed Samson to enemies without;
But when the anointing came, not only the enemies without destroyed, the enemies within were disappointed.
I am praying for you tonight that after tonight anointing service, all enemies within and without, whatever their plans concerning you they shall be disappointed.
And so now I am going to ask you to pray just for about five to ten minutes and I want you to pray that prayer very well as we get ready for the anointing service.
I want you to stand on your feet or if you want to knee you are free to do so and just cry unto the Almighty God and say: Father, anoint me for victory; anoint my children for victory.
Please go ahead and cry to the Almighty God.
Just talk to Him.
Father, please anoint me for victory; anoint my children for victory; anoint my family for victory; complete and absolute victory. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God.
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
And so shall it be in Jesus’ name.
Now, the Pastors have been distributed into various sections of the auditorium so as to make the matter quicker.
So, you will look around you, you will see where they are, so you go to the nearest section, get yourself anointed.
We are children in the hand of the most high God.
Hold on, hold on, don’t begin until I say so and there should be no rushing.
When you are coming for the anointing, one of the things you need to teach your children from childhood is giving unto God.
So, put something in the hand of your child so that when they come they will drop it in a basket near where they anoint you.
Let them drop it with their own hand so that they would have victory not just over physical things but over material things also.
So, as you are coming they will anoint child and they will anoint you because we are all children.
And then I will anoint the national overseer and he will help me anoint the people on the altar here
And the band will begin to worship God
When we finish, we will round up.

31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
In most 21st century societies, the hustle for survival is the preoccupation of many families and individuals living below the poverty line, while fashion, entertainment, lavish spending and accumulation of state-of-the-art technology are the concern of those that are well-off. The lifestyle of many, and ultimately what they pursue in life, is driven by their philosophy of life and the economic class they belong to. Many people seek wealth, fame, power etc, and they would do anything including participating in heinous crimes to achieve their goal. However, the Bible in Matthew 6:31-32 says that God knows we have need for food, clothes and accommodation:
“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”
The Bible also says in Proverbs 10:22 that the Lord is able to bless His own:
“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
Since the Lord is able to bless and prosper His children without them engaging in illicit activities, it is therefore not befitting for a Christian to participate in the same crazy pursuit for material things prevalent in the world today.
Furthermore, the word of God in 1 Timothy 6:9-10 says:
“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
Evidently, those who want to be rich at all costs usually fall into diverse temptations and traps of the devil. Out of desperation to be rich, they are easily drawn into sinful acts in the form of questionable businesses, partnership with dubious characters and dealings in substandard and harmful products. The question therefore is: what do you seek? What are you running after? Be warned that what you seek determines what you get. Seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness; seek the Lord Jesus with all your heart and He will surprise you with joy, peace, prosperity and a host of other heavenly blessings that money cannot buy.
Father, please give me the grace to seek Your kingdom and righteousness with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my might, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Sermon And Prayer Points By Pastor E A Adeboye. Time To Fight.
Ecclesiastes_3-1: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Colossians 3:5
1 Timothy 6:6-12
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Anyone that has been in the Christian race for some years would have discovered the militant nature of the average Christian. Every true Christian is fully aware of the on-going conflict around us, PHYSICAL,MENTAL, and SPIRITUAL. We are confronted with contrary doctrines in our daily lives, we face diverse kind of temptations, we are bombarded with many ungodly ideas and propositions; sometimes it could be vicious attack from unknown people or aggression from neighbours. In addition to all these, we are constantly faced with attractive and seemingly profitable offers from the pit of hell to lure us into all kind of sins. The devil is prowling around the world looking for Christians to destroy according to 1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
The Survival of a child of God therefore depends on his or her preparedness for battle and ability to fight. We must be ever ready so that nothing will catch us unawares. We cannot afford to slumber or sleep, we are meant to be spiritual watchmen and scouts, constantly looking out for bands of approaching enemies that may try to take us by surprise. This is why the above passage counsels us to be serious minded and vigilant, carefully monitoring every move of the enemy around us, and to be fully prepared to counter and completely neutralise his evil attacks. However, one of the most dangerous places to be in conflict situation is at the back. Whenever you see somebody dropping back in a war situation, be sure that fellow will soon be hit very hard. King David learnt this lesson in a hard way. I pray that you will never backslide into error and be caught in the snare of the devil in Jesus name.
In Mathew 16:18, the Lord Jesus declared that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church. These gates are the access points that the enemy may use to penetrate our lives. To permanently keep these gates shut, Colossians 3:5 counsels us to subdue the flesh and its Worldly desires through discipline. We must wage war against self to subdue, discipline, and put it under control. If we fail to discipline ourselves, then it becomes easy for pride, sexual immorality, inordinate ambition, covetousness , and other form of indiscipline to creep into our lives and give opportunity to devil to butcher us. May the Lord deliver you from every evil plan against your life in Jesus name. Finally 1 John 3:8b says:
“….For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”
The instruction to fight becomes easy to carry out when we realise that Jesus Christ the son of God came to this world for the sole purpose of destroying the works of devil. I decree that every work of the devil in your life be destroyed now in Jesus name.
Father, please help me to stand. Don’t let me ever fall for the devil in Jesus name.

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
1 Samuel 19:9-12
9. And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.
10. And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.
11. Saul also sent messengers unto David’s house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David’s wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life to night, to morrow thou shalt be slain.
12. So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped.
Let me start by clarifying something about being alone. Being alone could be in two ways, by solitude and by loneliness. Solitude is by being alone on purpose; an intentional separation from people for a period, such a person can be alone by the river side or watching television without being lonely. There is a biblical basis for solitude (Exodus 33:7,11; Luke 5:16; Luke 22:41), therefore, solitude could be a good thing. However, loneliness is usually never desired. Prolonged loneliness may sometimes lead to depression. Being alone is the very fast aspect of creation that met with God’s disapproval and His harsh judgment of not being good, and 1 Corinthians 1:25 says,
“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
Therefore, God’s assessment of “being alone” should be taken seriously. God in His infinite wisdom decided to solve the problem of being alone by providing a “help meet for the man”. A perfect companion that is suitable for him, one that will cancel out the negative effects of “being alone”. Now, fulfilling the purpose of God in life in general and marriage in particular depends largely on our understanding and total submission to the manufacturer’s instructions. A simple, direct, Holy Ghost inspired and time tested meaning of this passage is clear to all. Help refers broadly to aid or assistance, the word “helper” may connote subordinate, but does not necessarily imply inferiority. Hosea 13:9 refers to God as Israel’s helper, also, Genesis 2:18-25, describes how God provided the suitable helper for the man.
The declaration of Adam, that Eve is the bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh is a pointer to the fact that marriage creates the closets of all human relationships and should be cherished as such. We are to note also that only Eve was created and not Several Eves or another Adam. This is the confirmation that God established heterosexual monogamy as the divine pattern for marriage at creation. However, the languages of Ephesians 5:22-25 is probably clearer on the God given roles of husbands and wives.
“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”
Every child of God that is determined to fulfil God’s purpose must live according to the order of marriage ordained by Almighty God. Marriage is the foundation of life according to the Bible. Consequently, marital failure may as well translate to failure in life and ministry.
Father, I believe in the institution of marriage according to the Bible, please help me to build a strong, happy and joyful home in the mighty name of Jesus.

21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
Victory is generally presented in the Bible as an act of God. From Genesis to Revelation, God is always presented as the source of all victory, which He grants to those who obey His commands and out their trust and confidence in Him. Wherever you turn to in the Scripture, the principle holds true.
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over then in it.
Colossians 2:15
In essence, God has destroyed the value and quality of our enemies and has also put their failure, disgrace and shame in open display for all to see. Victory is always presented in the Bible as achieved by God without human intervention. This reality make it absolutely necessary to praise God whenever we are confronted by the enemy, knowing that victory is assured in Jesus’ name.
The Bible also presents praise as a spiritual language that can reach beyond the intellect to touch the heart of God. Whenever God wants to do something really supernatural, He calls for an army of musical warriors, to bombard the stronghold of the enemy. Such was the case in the time of Jehoshaphat King of Judah who deployed divine Warriors, AN ARMY WORSHIPPERS, to march into battle with musical instruments in their hands and songs of praises in their mouths. As they praised and worshipped God, he rose on their behalf and completely destroyed all their enemies. 2 Chronicles 20:22 says
“And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”
What I know for sure is that if you praise God, His enemies cannot standby. Some 30 years ago, we went to Otukpo town in the middle region of Nigeria for a programme, with some students. I planned to talk on divine healing. Then , we began to praise God so intensely that the glory of God descended and I forgot every other Scripture I had planned for the next sermon except Luke 1:37. Suddenly, there were clusters of students kneeling and praying in tongues though they had never heard of the Holy Ghost baptism before. Others joined them praying in tongues and the end of the day I could not preach. Go ahead now, praise God until you bring down His glory.
As you worship God today, He will arise and scatter all your enemies in the mighty name of Jesus.

Everyone On Earth Is Indebted To The Almighty God. Irrespective Of Your Many Needs That Are Yet To Be Met, You Must Still Remember That The Breath Of Life You Have Is Not A Function Of Your Power. If You Can Think Deeply Within You, And Look At All That Is Happening Around You, You Will Give Ceaseless Praise To God. The Reason Why Some People Do Not Think They Should Thank God Is Because They Are Looking At Those Things They Do Not Yet Have, But They Forget To Look At Those Things They Have Right Now. Some Would Even Say They Have Nothing. Such People Are Unmindful Of The Fact That It Is With Life That Things Are Produced, And When You Have Life You Have All Things. The Scripture In Psalm 68:19 Says:
“Blessed Be The Lord, Who Daily Loadeth Us With Benefits, Even The God Of Our Salvation.”
The Implication Of This Is That There Is Nothing We Need That The Lord Has Not Provided For. What To Eat, What To Drink, Where To Live, The Car To Drive, The Person To Marry Are All Examples Of His Benefits.
When The Psalmist Followed The Multitude Into God’s House, He Went With Joy Without Being Forced (Psalms 42:4). Why Then Do We Wait For People To Motivate Us To Praise God? Why Do We Behave As If There Is Nothing In Our Life To Thank God For? The Mercy Of The Lord Towards Us Is Everlasting (Psalms 100:5). With This Assurance, We Should Be Singing And Praising His Name. You Are To Bless The Lord For All He Has Done In The Past, All He Is Doing In The Present And All He Is Yet To Do. As You Do This, He Is Committed To Doing More. One Of The Greatest Lessons On Gratitude I Learnt Was From My Mother. Any Time My Mother Wanted To Collect My School Fees From My Father, She Would Draw Up A Strategy Of Praising And Eulogising My Father.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
She Would Call Him Great Names He Did Not Bear. She Would Mention Great Feats And Achievements Far Above His Profile And Credit Him With Them. Even Before She Was Done, He Would Give Her What She Wanted. This Strategy Worked Every Time. If This Can Work For A Mortal Man Full Of Limitations, How Much More The Immortal God Who Has No Limitations? For All The Blessings And Protection Of The Almighty God, You Can Never Praise Him Enough. When You Praise God Adequately And Magnify His Various Names, He Is Moved, And Once God Moves On Your Behalf, You Can Expect The Miraculous. You Can Also Expect Him To Ambush Your Enemies And Open Doors In All Aspects Of Your Life.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, Prayer Works, God Answers Prayers

While On Earth, Jesus Demonstrated The Nature And Character Of God To Man (John 14:8-11).There Was No One Who Came In Contact With Him That Did Not Testify Of His Goodness. Why Was This Always The Case? It Is Because Jesus Knew The Purpose Of His Coming To Earth. When The Purpose Of A Thing Is Not Known, Abuse Is Inevitable. Because Jesus Knew Why He Was Here, He Never Wasted Any Opportunity. He Was So Committed To The Business Of Seeking The Lost That He Even Became The Guest Of Sinners. There Is So Much Potential Being Wasted Today, Because Very Few People Are Committed To The Business Of Wining Souls; Whereas This Is The Global Mandate Given To Every Believer By The Lord. There Is No One In Jesus’ Cabinet That Is Useless. Before He Came Into Their Lives, They Might Have Been Ordinary Men, But After They Became Citizens Of His Kingdom, They Became Valuable Instruments In The Hands Of God.
Anyone Could Be Lost, Irrespective Of Their Position, Titles Or Academic Achievement. Even If You Are A Renowned Professor, As Long As You Do Not Have Jesus In Your Heart, You Are Lost. There Is No One Who Jesus Cannot Receive. He Is Waiting Earnestly For Everyone To Come To Him. In Our Bible Reading Today, A Chief Sinner Came To Jesus, And He Got His Salvation. This Is The Beauty Of Salvation: All You Need To Do Is Come To Jesus And Receive Him As Your Lord And Saviour. Salvation Is For All. No Matter How Terrible You Have Been, Just Try Jesus, And He Will Make Sense Out Of Your Life. He Will Not Only Receive You To Himself, He Will Polish Away Your Rough Ends To The Point Where You Become A Testimony To The Entire World.
All You Need To Do Is Make Straight Your Crooked Ways. Even If You Have Backslidden, He Is Waiting To Accept You Back By His Love. To Be Lost In Sin Is A Terrible Thing. Sin Has Wages, And The Wages Of Sin Is Death. It Is Sin That Produces Sickness, Affliction, Bondage And Distress; But The Moment You Are Found By The Lord Through Salvation, You Begin To Enjoy Good Health, Abundant Life And The Peace Of God, And Live A Holy Life That Counts To His Glory. When You Allow Yourself To Be Found By The Lord, You Can Be Assured That In Your Salvation Lies Your Breakthroughs And Victory. I Was Formerly Lost, But When Jesus Came Into My Life, Everything Changed. This Can Be Your Testimony Too. Your Past Will No Longer Matter To God; He Will Only Use It As A Testimony Of His Faithfulness.

To God be the glory. Great thing He has done. We thank Him for all the past congresses and for all He has done since last year. Welcome to Congress 2015.

The Lord is set to open the floodgates of love, healing, power, joy and anointing unto you like never before. Jesus Christ Is The Door To Finding Everlasting Peace. Peace Is So Vital To Human Existence That People Search For It In Many Ways. Some People Even Do All Sorts Of Abominable Things To Get Peace, But The More Effort They Put In, The More They Realise That They Are Far From Having The Peace Of God. Jesus Is The Only Door Through Which True Peace Is Guaranteed. Because Jesus Is The Door, Whatever You Need To Access In Life Can Only Be Done Effortlessly Through Him. As The Door, He Does Not Need A Door To Come In, Nor Does He Need A Door To Go Out. For Everything You Desire In Life, There Are Doors For Accessing Them. There Are Doors Of Financial Breakthrough, Academic Excellence, Marital Bliss, Spiritual Endowment And Health. All These Doors Are Enclosed In The Original Door – Jesus. There Is None Of These Doors That Jesus Christ Cannot Open. Nothing Can Deny Any Child Of God Access To These Doors As Long As They Are In Christ.
Are You In Search Of Promotion, Fruitfulness And Breakthrough? Then Come To Jesus. He Will Give You Access To All The Closed Doors In Your Life. There Is No Need For Worries Or Panic, Because Jesus Will Give You Permanent Victory Over The Challenges Confronting You. If You Want Jesus To Be Your Access Through The Journey Of Life, You Must Give Him Full Access Into Your Life. You Must Always Allow The Lord To Be Before You. Psalm 16:8 Says:
“I Have Set The Lord Always Before Me: Because He Is At My Right Hand, I Shall Not Be Moved.”
If You Want To Have Jesus As Your Exclusive Way, You Must Allow Him Take The Lead While You Follow. You Need To Always Look Up To Him And Let Him Be Your Focus. If You Can Do This, You Will Realise That Those Things You Have Been Running After For Many Years Will Begin To Come To You. As Long As You Have Jesus, You Cannot Be Limited. All You Need To Do Is Open Your Heart To Him. What Are Those Things You Worry Yourself About? Trust In The Exclusive Door. He Will Lead And Guide You. The Moment Jesus Becomes Your Door, Everything Will Begin To Respond To You. There Are Many People Who Are Not Yet Blessed Because They Have Shut The Door Of Their Heart To The Lord. The Moment The Door Is Opened For Him To Come In, The Lines Will Begin To Fall In Pleasant Places For You. Jesus Is The Only True Door. Other Doors Will Fail, But Jesus Can Never Fail.

Father, As I Open Up The Door Of My Heart To Jesus, Help Me To Always Hear Your Voice.

From The Experience Of Daniel In Our Bible Reading Today, We Understand That Praying Effectively Makes It Impossible For Your Blessings To Pass You By. When You Pray, Your Blessings Are Branded With Your Name, And As You Continue In Prayer, A Heavenly Courier Is Sent With Your Package. When You Pray Some More, The Courier Will Deliver The Package To You. Do You Know That There Are Blessings Which Were Released From Heaven But Which Never Got To Their Owners? One Likely Way Of Losing Your Blessing Is To Stop Praying About Them. If You Stop, By The Time They Are Being Sent, They Could Get Missing In Transit. So Many Blessings Have Been Lost Due To A Lack Of Follow-Up Prayers.
Let Us Look At Daniel’s Experience. He Had A Burden To Unravel A Particular Mystery; So He Set Out To Fast And Seek God’s Face On The Matter. A Day Passed, A Week Passed, And Another Week Passed, But He Kept On Praying. It Was After Three Weeks That The Answer Came. The Angel Who Brought The Answer Told Him That From The Day The Request Was Made, It Was Heard And An Answer Was Sent, But Certain Forces Of Darkness Delayed Him Until Angel Michael Came To Assist Him. This Tells Us That The Battles In Heavenly Places Are Real. No Wonder Ephesians 6:12 Says:
“For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh And Blood, But Against Principalities, Against Powers, Against The Rulers Of The Darkness Of This World, Against Spiritual Wickedness In High Places.”
These Forces Exist And They Are Out To Delay Or Deny You Your Blessings. If You Lose Faith And Stop Praying, The Enemy Might Divert Them.
It Is One Thing To Pray And Have The Answer Released, But It Is Another Thing To Receive The Answer. Today, It Is Possible To Send Something By Post And Track Its Movement From Country To Country Up To Its Destination Through The Internet. Prayer Is The Spiritual Tracking Device You Need To Track Your Blessing From Heaven Until It Arrives In Your Hands. Once You Start Praying On A Particular Issue, Don’t Stop. Keep On Praying Until The Answer Gets To You. In Addition, It Is Necessary To Specifically Pray Against Every Spiritual Agent Of Hindrance. Paralyse Every Diversionary Agent Of Darkness. Pray Against Blessing Thieves And Hijackers, And Envelope Your Blessing In The Blood Of Jesus.
Key Point:
Prayer Is Like A Hook With A Rope Tied; With It You Can Catch Your Blessing, And Pull It Until It Gets To You.

God Has A Unique Plan For Your Life. In All That You Do, Never Let This Escape Your Mind. Note However That There Is A Difference Between Desire And Purpose. There Is Also A Difference Between Ambition And Purpose. Your Joy Can Only Be Full When You Find Your Purpose In Life. Until You Get To This Point, Life Will Be Such A Struggle, Full Of Stress And Pressures. It Is Good To Have Ambition, But It Is Better To Seek God’s Purpose For Your Life, And Having Known It, Make That Your Life’s Ambition. You Will Be Happier For It.
Moreover, Having Carved Out His Purpose For Your Life, God Gives You The Gifts And Abilities That Will Enable You Fulfil That Purpose. God’s Calling On Your Life Is In Line With His Divine Purpose. Where A Conflict Exists Between God’s Plan For Your Life And Your Own Plans, There Will Always Be Problems. For Instance, If God Wants You To Be A Missionary In A Particular Country And You Plan To Be A Doctor In Another Part Of The World, There Will Be Great Conflict. If You Fail To Yield To His Will, You Will Be Disrupting His Plan. It Is Either A Person Is Brought To A Halt Over His Personal Ambition That Is Making God’s Will Secondary, Or God Will Alter His Plan For That Person By Moving Someone Else Into His Place. If Your Pursuit Runs Contrary To God’s Plan For Your Life, God Expects You To Do Something Fast.
When Peter’s Fishing Business Got In God’s Way, He Was Called Out Of Traditional Fishing Into Fishing For Men. As We Speak, There Are Several People Who Refuse To Yield To God Over His Plan For Their Lives. They Have Continued To Struggle With God’s Will. Resisting God’s Will Regarding His Plan For Your Life Can Be Frustrating. It Can Lead To Labouring Without Commensurate Harvest, Afflictions, Disappointments, Great Loss Of Valuables And Much More. If You Remain Adamant After Repeated Attempts To Bring You Back In Line, God May Have To Replace You. When God Replaces A Person, He Or She Is Left Alone To Pursue His Or Her Ambitions, Which Will Lead Nowhere. Are You Struggling With God? Is God Calling You Into His Service Or Into Full-Time Ministry And You Are Resisting? Stop Resisting Him Today!

Because Holiness Is The Nature Of God, Living A Holy Life Makes You A Partner With God In His Work. 2 Corinthians 6:1 Says:
“We Then, As Workers Together With Him, Beseech You Also That Ye Receive Not The Grace Of God In Vain.”
What A Great Privilege This Is! When You Have The Same Nature As God, He Will Not Look At Your Limitations; Rather, He Will Lift You Up So That He Can Relate With You. God Wants To Partner With You. He Wants To Be Able To Seek Your Opinion On Issues; Not Because He Does Not Know What To Do, But Just To Make You Know That You Count Before Him (John 6:5-6). Living A Holy Life Makes You Count Before God, And It Gives You Relevance Before Him (Genesis 18:17-19).
Moreover, Holiness Empowers You To Plead Your Cause Before God. As A Sinner, You Cannot Stand Before God, Because Your Sins Have Disqualified You To Begin With. But When You Approach Jesus And Accept Him As Your Saviour, His Blood Washes You Clean And He Stands As Your Lawyer To Plead Your Cause (1 John 2:1). Thereafter, As You Imbibe His Holiness And Allow His Nature To Express Itself Through You, You Are Empowered To Plead Your Own Cause Before God (Hebrews 4:16). Holiness Also Qualifies You To Plead For Others. Are You Living A Holy Life? How Well Are You Pleading Your Cause And That Of Others Before Heaven’s Court?
Similarly, Living A Holy Life Makes You God’s Sharp Battle Axe: You Become A Fighting Instrument In His Hands (Jeremiah 51:20). A Life Of Holiness Is A Declaration To The Kingdom Of Darkness That You Are On God’s Side Permanently. You Therefore Become A Very Useful Instrument In God’s Hands. Isaiah 41:15 Says:
“Behold, I Will Make Thee A New Sharp Threshing Instrument Having Teeth; Thou Shalt Thresh The Mountains; And Beat Them Small, And Shalt Make The Hills As Chaff.”
One Of My Sons Once Had A Dream Where He Saw His Hands Being Exchanged With Iron Hands. Even Though He Tried To Resist What The Angels Were Doing, He Could Not Stop Them. Thereafter, The Lord Used Him Mightily Against The Kingdom Of Satan And Is Still Using Him Today. The More You Live A Life Of Holiness, The More Likely It Is That God Will Use You To Do Greater Things And To Fight Bigger Battles. Are You Living A Holy Life?

In The Plan Of God For You As A Child Of Destiny, Both Those Who Love You And Those Who Hate You Have A Part To Play In Bringing About The Fulfilment Of Your Destiny. For Example, In The Case Of Joseph, His Father Loved Him But His Brothers Hated Him. Ideally, Joseph Would Have Preferred That His Brothers Loved Him Like His Father Did. But If That Had Happened, How Would He Ever Have Arrived At The Place Of His Destiny? His Brothers, Provoked By Envy, Provided The Free Transportation That Took Him To His Place Of Destiny. If They Had Known That Their Evil Intentions Towards Their Younger Brother Would Fast-Track His Dreams Coming True, Would They Have Sold Him Into Slavery? I Doubt It.
This Simply Tells Us That The Enemy Does Not See The Bigger Picture. God Only Allows The Enemy To See How They Can Hinder You, While He Hides From Them How Their Actions Will Benefit You. Believe It Or Not, As Long As You Are In God’s Will, Every Negative Move Your Enemy Makes Will Work Towards Your Good. May The Lord Open Your Eyes To See The Good In The Bad Actions Of Your Enemies In Jesus’ Name.
Moreover, There Is A Difference Between Desire And God’s Purpose. It Is Possible For You To Have A Desire Which Tallies With God’s Plan And Purpose For Your Life. In This Scenario, Your Desire And God’s Purpose Will Harmonise To Move You Into Your Destiny. However, It Is Also Possible To Desire What Contradicts God’s Purpose For Your Life. In Such A Scenario, If Your Desire Is Granted, It Could Delay, Distort, Modify Or Even Cancel God’s Plan For Your Life. For Example, God May Want You To Live And Serve Him In A Particular Country – Say Your Homeland, Whereas You May Desire To Go To A More Developed Country For Greener Pastures. If God Loves You, He Will Not Grant Your Desire, So That You Can Remain In His Plan For Your Life.
Although Jesus In Mark 11:24 Promised To Deliver To You Your Requests Made In Faith, Yet, As A Child Of Destiny, You Must Be Careful What You Ask For, Lest You Ask Outside Of God’s Will, And He Sends Leanness Into Your Soul (Psalm 106:15). Every Time You Desire What God Does Not Want For You, It Amounts To Working Against Your God-Given Destiny. Stop Working Against God’s Plan For Your Life. From Today, Harmonise Your Plan With God’s Purpose For You. Any Personal Plan That Does Not Blend With God’s Plan Must Be Discarded.

Children Of God Who Are Not Sensitive In These Last Days Will Have Themselves To Blame. You Have To Be Prayerful, Careful And Sensitive To The Leading Of The Holy Spirit, Particularly Because There Are Mixed Multitudes All Around The Church Today. There Are Even Churches That Belong To Satan But Have The Appearance Of Belonging To Jesus Christ. There Are Also Demonic Agents Prowling Around And Deceiving People. If You Are Not Very Watchful, You Will Become One Of Their Victims. That Will Not Be Your Portion In Jesus’ Name. Although God Wants His Children To Hear From Him And Get His Best, One Factor Inhibiting This Is The Fact That They Have Idols In Their Hearts Which Prevent Them From Hearing From Him Clearly. You Can Be Seeking God’s Face For Direction But Also Be Hoarding Idols In Your Heart. If You Really Want The Almighty God To Guide You, You Have To Eradicate All Forms Of Idols From Your Life.
There Are Many Singles In The Body Of Christ Today Who Are Not Yet Married Even Though They Are Of Age. Some Of Them Have Allowed Idols In Their Hearts For So Long A Time That They Have Not Been Able To Look In The Direction God Is Leading Them To. For A User Of This Devotional Trusting God For A Marriage Partner, The Lord Will Direct Your Steps In Jesus’ Name. You Can Never Get Anything Better Than What God Has In Store For You. Once Your Spirit Man Is Highly Sensitive, You Will Always Receive God’s Signal On The Right Thing To Do Each Time (Isaiah 42:16).
There Are Many Homes Experiencing Frustration Today. It Is Because They Have Not Allowed The Voice Of God To Speak To Them. God Has Spoken, But They Have All Along Been Listening To The Idols In Their Heart. Not All That Glitters Is Gold. Not All Open Doors Are Opened By God. If You Really Want The Blessings Of God In Your Life And Home, You Have To Eradicate The Voices Of All The Idols In Your Heart. Several People At One Point Or The Other Have Drawn God’s Attention To Themselves By Lifting Up Their Hands To Heaven. This Is A Symbolic Way Of Saying, “Lord I Trust You Totally With My Life.” You Are Telling God That Unless He Helps You, There Is Nothing You Can Do About Your Situation. One Person Who Did This Several Times Was Moses. At The Red Sea, God Commanded Him To Lift His Hands, And You Know The End Of The Story. There Is Something Highly Significant About The Hands Of Moses; They Were Very Special.
Even In The Battle Between The Children Of Israel And The Amalekites, The War Was Won Simply By Moses Raising His Hands Up To Heaven. Anytime You Lift Up Your Hands To God, You Are Showing Your Reliance And Total Dependence On Him. There Are People Struggling Through Life. They Wake Up Very Early And Return Home Very Late, And Yet There Is Nothing Significant To Show For All Their Efforts. It Requires More Than Human Effort To Succeed In Life. You Need The Divine Support Of The Almighty God. Never Trust In Your Position, Because Position Is Never Permanent. Never Trust In Your Intellect, Because No Matter How Much You Know, Your Intellect Is Too Small To Comprehend The Ways Of God. Never Trust In Your Money, Because Money Can Develop Wings And Fly Away. Put Your Total And Absolute Trust In God.
The More You Look Up To God, The More Victories He Will Deliver Into Your Hands On A Platter. If Anyone Who Is Of God Raises His Hands To Bless You, You Can Rest Assured That You Are Blessed. You Need To Also Pray To God That Through Your Hands, There Will Be Manifestation Of Signs And Wonders. Apostle Paul Did So Many Exploits With His Hands. Your Hands Are Very Significant To The Fulfilment Of Your Destiny. This Is Why You Cannot Afford To Toy With Sin. You Must Be Willing To Engage Your Hands In Doing Things That Are Pleasing To God. Engage Your Hands In Soul-Winning And Setting The Captives Free. Anytime You Need Empowerment From God, Go To His Presence As An Empty Vessel That Is Waiting To Be Filled And Empowered. Lift Up Your Hands To Him So That He Will Know You Have Come To Exchange Your Weakness For His Strength. Never Go Before The Almighty God With The Notion That You Have It All. In The Above Scripture, Jesus Christ Is Called The Faithful And True Witness. Because He Is The Truth, He Hates Lies. A False Witness Is A Liar. It Therefore Implies That Jesus Hates The Bearing Of False Witness. If You Are A False Witness, Your Nature Is At Variance With That Of Jesus Who Is The Faithful And True Witness. If You Claim You Belong To Him And Yet You Bear False Witness, You Lie, And The Truth Is Not In You. If You Lied Against Someone And Got The Fellow Into Trouble Before You Were Saved, Although God Has Forgiven You Your Sins At The Point Of Salvation, You Still Need To Make Right That Wrong Deed. It Is Very Worrisome To Hear That False Witnesses Exist In The Body Of Christ Today.
It Is Reported That Some People Arrange For Some Fellows To Testify Against Particular Individuals In Order To Discredit Them Or Their Ministry. Such Testimonies Have Ridiculed And Even Disqualified Some People From A Particular Office, Position Or Imminent Promotion. If You Are Guilty Of Such Act, You Must Be Prepared To Restitute To The Fellow You Lied Against. Yes, It Could Be Humiliating, But You Have To Do It.
Another Area Where People Are Guilty Of Bearing False Witness In The Body Of Christ Today Concerns The Issue Of Sexual Harassment. There Are Ladies Who, For One Reason Or Another, Decide To Blackmail A Servant Of God. They May Come To That Servant Of God With An Issue, Arrange A Scenario Of Compromise, And Then Allege That He Was About To Rape Them. They Are Like Potiphar’s Wife, Who Consistently Tried To Entice Joseph Into Adultery, But He Kept Resisting Her. Eventually, When All Her Antics Had Failed, She Falsely Accused Him Of Trying To Rape Her. Joseph Went To Prison Because Of That Lie. Some Pastors Have Lost Their Ministries To False Witnesses. Some People Have Been Demoted Because Someone Lied Against Them. Some Families Are Suffering Because Of The Lies A Member Of The Extended Family Told Against Them. Some Church Leaders Are Fighting Some Innocent Workers And Ministers Because Of The Lies Told By Somebody. Are You A False Witness? God Can Expose Your Evil Deeds. Go And Straighten Your Crooked Path Or Else, The Journey You Thought Would Lead You To Heaven Will End In Hell.

A Mission Is A Special Assignment Commissioned By A Higher Authority. Generally Speaking, Missions Are Known To Involve Some Level Of Difficulty And Challenges. Therefore, They Are Generally Identified With Uncertainty, Opposition, Criticism, Anxiety, Risk And Fear. This Fact Is Evident In All Those Who Were Commissioned For One Assignment Or The Other In The Bible. Noah As A Man On A Mission Experienced All These. Nobody Believed Him Until The Word Of The Lord Came To Pass (Luke 17:27). Abraham’s Experience Was The Same. At A Point, He Risked Losing His Beautiful Wife Because Of The Fear Of The Unknown (Genesis 20:2-3). The Assignment Of Moses Was Especially Marked With Difficulties That Made Him Experience Negative Conditions On A Much Higher Level.
Other Important Figures In The Bible Like Joseph, Joshua, Daniel, Nehemiah, And David Were Not Left Out; They All Had Terrible Encounters On Their Mission To Fulfil Their Assignments, But By The Grace Of God, They All Accomplished Their Missions Successfully. I Therefore Decree Over Your Life: No Matter How Difficult Your Assignment Is, And No Matter What You Are Passing Through On The Assignment, Your Mission Will Be Accomplished Successfully In Jesus’ Name.
A Person On A Mission Is Usually Misunderstood, Especially When He Or She Is Being Controlled By The Holy Spirit. This Is Usually Because The Fellow Receives Divine Instructions Which Are Guaranteed To Bring Success, But Are Usually At Variance With Human Understanding. David, As A Man On A Divine Mission, Accomplished His Mission In Grand Style By Taking Some Specific Steps. He Did Not Allow Opposition And Criticism To Discourage Him, But Remained Focus On His Assignment. David Identified With The Almighty God And Relied On The Power In The Word Of God As The Ultimate Weapon Of War. He Trusted Completely In God For Victory To The Point Of Boasting About It. He Was Ill-Equipped For Battle Because He Had No Sword, Yet He Confidently Approached His Assignment With Boldness, And God Crowned His Efforts With Resounding Victory.
Do You Have A Mission, Vision, Or Idea That Has Become A Passion In You? Are You In Anyway Handicapped Because Of Lack Of Money, Human Connection, Or Assistance? Are You In A Disadvantaged Position Because Of Your Family Background Or Upbringing? My Friend, Do Not Fret Over Your Situation. Put Your Trust In God, And Your Mission Will Be Accomplished In Due Time In Jesus’ Name.

In Today’s Bible Reading, We See What Seems To Be A Subtle Undertone In Eliab’s Unprovoked Anger Against David. Let’s Take A Closer Look At What Was Actually Going On. David Happened On The Battle Scene By Accident, Because He Was Only There On An Errand To Deliver His Father’s Message To His Brothers And The Captain Of Their Unit. It Is Therefore Interesting That David Was Able To Identify His Mission In The Midst Of An Affair Which Appeared To Be None Of His Business. He Found His Purpose In A Remote And Indirect Call To Duty. This Is A Very Good Example Of How The Purpose Of God Becomes Manifest In A Person’s Life. Despite The Fact That Eliab Railed Accusations Of Pride And Naughtiness Of Heart Against David, He Did Not Deny Them Or Defend Himself; He Only Asked This Rhetorical Question: “Is There Not A Cause?” A Cause Is A Very Important Element Of Purpose, Which Usually Develops Into A Passion For An Objective, Making It Worth Dying For. David So Quickly Reached The Conclusion That Confronting Goliath Was A Cause He Was Prepared To Die For (1 Samuel 17:32).
Looking At The Sequence Of Events In This Story, I Have A Feeling That David Was Acting Under The Influence Of A Power That Was Far Beyond His Control. I Sincerely Believe That He Was Very Conscious Of This Fact, And He Yielded Himself To The Control Of The Awesome Power Of God. The Power That Moved David To Overcome Goliath Is The Same Power That Moved Samson To Tear Up A Lion With His Bare Hand. I Pray That You Will Receive That Power Now In The Name Of Jesus. David Did Not Only Discover His Assignment, He Also Quickly Identified With The One Who Predetermined The Whole Process. Let’s Consider A Few Of The Steps Taken By David. First Of All, He Ignored And Discarded All Forms Of Discouragement That Came His Way Through His Brother, Eliab, And Through King Saul (1 Samuel 17:28 & 33). In Addition, He Testified And Boasted In The Lord Of All The Wonderful Things God Had Accomplished In His Life (1 Samuel 17:34-37). Furthermore, Being Sure Of God’s Support, He Refused To Rely On Human Technology (1 Samuel 17:39).
Beyond All This, He Went Ahead To Identify With God By Presenting Himself As An Emissary Of The Lord Of Hosts. 1 Samuel 17:45 Says:
“Then Said David To The Philistine, Thou Comest To Me With A Sword, And With A Spear, And With A Shield: But I Come To Thee In The Name Of The Lord Of Hosts, The God Of The Armies Of Israel, Whom Thou Hast Defied.”
Are You Pursuing A Cause? Are You A Man Or A Woman With A Purpose? If You Are Ready To Identify With The Lord Of Hosts And Employ The Same Strategy David Used, Success Will Be Yours.

There Are Many Inventors In Life Whose Names We Never Heard About Because They Gave Up On The Verge Of Their Discoveries. Life Is About Persistence, And One Man Who Was Very Persistent In His Pursuit Of Greatness Was Elisha (2 Kings 2). Elisha Kept Following Elijah Ardently And Many People Thought He Was Wasting His Time. Elijah Moved From Bethel To Jordan And From There To Jericho, Yet, Elisha Would Not Let Go. He Was Desperate For Greatness, And His Persistence In The Pursuit Of Greatness Paid Off. You Need To Understand That You Have A Great Role To Play If You Will Ever Get Answers To Your Prayers. Also, Understand That Sometimes, There Is A Place Of Waiting Before A Prayer Is Answered. Some Problems Have A Required Number Of Hits They Must Receive Before They Become Levelled. Naaman Had To Dip In The Water Seven Times Before He Could Get His Cleansing. Thank God He Did Not Stop At The Sixth Dip When He Discovered There Was Still No Change. It Takes Persistence To Get The Miracles You Desire From God.
From The Account Of The Woman In Today’s Bible Reading, It Is Apparent That She Continued To Persuade The Judge To Assist Her. There Might Have Been Many Things The Judge Said Which Were Sufficient To Discourage Her From Returning To Him, But She Did Not Succumb. She Persisted In Her Visits And Cries For Justice Until She Got The Attention Of The Judge On Her Case. There Is No Problem In Life Without An Expiry Date. The Faint In Spirit Cannot Get Anything Significant From Life. They Give Up At The Point When They Are So Close To Their Blessing. God Is A God Of Plan And Purpose. He Does Everything According To His Timetable. Some People Conclude That Their Miracle Is Taking Too Long To Come; They Become Impatient And Begin To Look For Alternatives That Will Not Give Them The Kind Of Joy They Desire. Do Not Be Like Such People. You Need To Keep Your Hope Alive.
You Need To Push Until You Get What You Want Out Of Life. There Are People Who Are So Passive In Life. They Think Life Will Automatically Give Them What They Deserve Just By Speaking In Tongues. No, It Doesn’t Work That Way! You Have To Involve Your Body, Soul And Spirit In The Pursuit Of Your Dreams. That Woman In Our Bible Reading Continued To Press The Unjust Judge. Everywhere This Judge Went, He Saw The Woman There, Pleading Passionately That Her Case Be Looked Into. Her Appearance Began To Constitute A Problem For Him; So Much So That He Decided To Grant Her Petition. In The Name Of Jesus, You Will Get That Which Will Glorify The Name Of The Lord. Let Your Anchor Of Hope Remain Intact In Jesus Christ. Never Allow The Winds Of Adversity, Doubt And Fear Deny You Of Your Divine Inheritance.
Matthew_21-22: And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

One announcement very quickly, We have a busy night, a glorious night ahead. So, this is last Holy Ghost service of the year, because next month we would be having the Congress.
And so the first Friday of next month, there will be no Holy Ghost service here, instead from December seventh to December twelfth we will have the Holy Ghost Congress; and the theme for this year is “The Flood Gates of Heaven”.
Now, somebody said that when a true prophets prophecies, there is always someone who will laugh at him, who will mock him – how can that happen.
And he gave the example in 2 Kings 7, if you read it from verse one to the end.
When everything looks bleak and the man of God prophesied, and said in 24 hours there will be so much food that nobody would want to buy.
Somebody laughed at him, and said even if God were to open windows in heaven, can this thing be?
Now, take my word, because the man of God turn to him and say, you will see it, only you won’t of part of it.
I am not claiming to be a prophet, you all know I am a pastor, but I hear from God once in a while.
This year congress is going to the best congress we have ever had.
Every day, beginning from Monday, would be like a full fledge Holy Ghost service: every day!
I don’t know while God decided to do it, but for one reason or the other He has decided to open all the gates of heaven and concentrate floods of blessing upon everybody who will be here.
Now, I know some of you will say I will wait till the Friday, hmmm! By then you have missed so much, it will be difficult to recover.
Beginning from Monday the seventh, and it is interesting that it is the seventh that we are starting.
Seven stands for perfection.
From the very first day, is going to be marvelous.
So if I were you, number one I will make sure I am here throughout the week.
Number two, I will make sure I have to tie a rope to my friend and drag them – I will do so.
I will bring all my relatives.
Just one week in the year.
One week that will determine what is going to happen to you in the coming year.
Am telling you, is going to be a congress like none you have ever had before.
Is up to you, don’t say I didn’t tell you.
And tonight we want to consider EBENEZER.
1 Samuel 7, I am reading from verse 3 to 13.
‘3Samuel spake unto all the house if Israel, saying, if ye do return unto the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your heart unto the Lord, served Him only: and He will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
4 Then the children of Israel did put away Baalim and Ashtaroth, and served the Lord only.
5 And Samuel said, gather all Israel to Mizpeh, and I will pray for you unto the Lord.
6 And they gathered together to Mizpeh, and drew water, and poured it out before the Lord, and fasted on that day, and said there we have sinned against the Lord. And Samuel judged the children of Israel in Mizpeh.
7 And when the Philistines heard that the children of Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of Israel heard it, they were afraid of the Philistines.
8 And the children of Israel said to Samuel, cease not to cry unto the Lord our God for us, that He will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.
9 And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the Lord: and Samuel cried unto the Lord for Israel; and the Lord heard him.
10 And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them, and they were smitten before Israel.
11 And the men of Israel went out of Mizpeh, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until they came under Bethcar.
12 Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.
13 So the Philistines were subdued and they came no more into the coast of Israel: and the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.
I have good news for someone, all your enemy will be subdue for you tonight.
Life is journey.
1 Peter 2:11 says we are all pilgrims on earth – we are just passing through; we are on a journey.
Hebrew 12:1 says we are running a race.
Now, in this journey of life, there are many battles on the way: from the moment we are born we begin the journey.
That is when they want to talk about a child they don’t say, how young is the child?
What do they say?
How old?
Because old is important thing, just starting now but he is heading somewhere.
How old is the child – one day old, and from the moment you are born the battle begins.
Some of you who are a little old here will remember when we were born, we were born into a dusty ground, that you parent said they wanted to paint and they get cow dumps and some leaves to scrub the floor, so the very floor you are sleeping on is saturated with germs and you are born into it.
When they say they are cutting you umbilical cord they will just get any knife.
When they untie the umbilical cord, they get any rag.
Many of us were born into the hand of death.
But the Almighty kept us alive – we survived.
Some of you know what I am talking about.
Some of you are more blessed; when you are young you develop a fever and you are shaking, you are burning hot, what does your mother do?
Put you behind her back and look for the thickest cloth to wrap round you, you are already burning hot.
When they want to give you something that is going to cure you, there is no dosage, they think the more of concoction you drink the better.
But we survived.
Yeah, we survived.
The battles continue all through life.
Some of you never see battles until you get married.
And so some of you will know what am talking about.
You struggle to pass through college.
You graduate; you struggled to get a job.
You get a job, you struggle to not to be terminated.
You struggle to be promoted.
You get promoted; it is a struggle sitting on your chair.
Life is journey full of battles.
Psalm 124:1-8, if the Lord has not been on our side, where shall we be now?
If the Lord has not been on our side when the enemy rose up against us, they will have swallowed us quick.
Life is full of battles: battle seen, battle not seen.
Forces of darkness from the father side, from the mother, in the place of work, everywhere.
And if you think that there are no evil forces, congratulations, wait till they attack you, then you will they are there.
I pray they will never attack you.
Now the race or the journey, whichever way you want to call it, is different in length for different people.
For some people is a sprint before you know it they have finished.
For some people is a marathon.
Abraham race lasted 175 years, Genesis 25:7.
Isaac his son is own race lasted one hundred and eighty years, Genesis 35:28.
Moses race lasted one twenty years, Deuteronomy 34:7.
Joshua who took over from Moses is own race lasted one hundred and ten years, Joshua 24:29.
So we don’t know how long your race will last, just as you don’t know how long my own we last.
But one thing is certain, if God has not helped you till this moment the devil will have shorten your race before now.
So I believe there is somebody here tonight, who owes God a thank You.
He helps you on the way.
Now, of course, the help may differ.
Probably He helped someone more than He helps another; go to the Scripture you will see it.
Abraham started from nothing, just a promise.
Genesis 12:1-3, God said to Abraham get away from your home, get away from your father’s house, go to somewhere I will show and I will bless you, that was all he heard and he left.
I know someone who came to this Lagos, with hardly anything other than the dress he was wearing, and today, he has become a billionaire.
Help differs.
Because at the end it was said of Abraham, Genesis 24:34-35, a servant of Abraham said, God has blessed my master greatly.
The help you receive from God may differ from man – that is true.
Jacob labored for fourteen years before he could marry the girl he loved – fourteen years! Genesis 29:25-28, for fourteen years he laboured before he gets the girl he really wanted to marry.
On the other hand, Isaac, just went for a stroll and came home with wife; Genesis 24:33-64 or to 67, Isaac just went for a stroll and then saw a girl coming, and the girl ask somebody, who is that? And the fellow said that is my master.
The next thing you heard in the Bible, Isaac just took the girl instead, married her that was the end of the story.
Somebody did the work for him.
Help differs, I agree.
But there is nobody here who can say God has not helped me.
You may say He didn’t help me much, but He helped you.
The fact that you are alive today is because of His help.
That you can open your mouth to shout hallelujah is because of His help; because on your journey all the way he keeps His eyes on you.
2 Chronicles 16:9, says the eyes of the Lord is always running to and fro throughout the earth is watching you, and He is involved in all that is happening to you.
That is why the Bible says all things work together for good to them that love God.
Let me assure of one thing, what you consider to be a big problem now, the time God finishes with you, it will become big testimony.
It was the greatest problem of my life that brought me to the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and today I thank God for that problem; without that problem even you won’t be here.
Haa! Because if you knew me, you will know that the problem has to be really a big for anybody to find me in the Redeemed Christian Church of God of 1973.
It was church built with bulldog, the ground not even plaster.
And two years before, or coupled of year before, I had come to Ebute Metta, I escorted my friend who was doing post-graduate in Geography, and he was doing the coastline of Lagos and needed sand from various point for him to do his analysis.
So I followed him to Ebute metta, and as we are coming from the lagoon where we have taking so samples; I saw the sign board “The Redeemed Christian Church of God”.
Big sign board, and then I looked at the church, small bulldog, and I said to my friend – Oh! Big name kill small dog.
I didn’t know I will end up here.
I didn’t know –Today I am grateful to God.
Whatever may be your biggest problem right now, in the Name that is above every other name, will become your biggest testimony.
Everyone owes God a thanksgiving that is why we said let us set apart November, this November to say thank You, for thus far You have helped us.
We are not grateful enough, there many of us who come here in January who are no more.
We are not better than those who have passed away.
That there is even peace in Nigeria at this moment is enough.
If there have been civil wars since May we won’t be able to gather here.
Is Nigeria have been burning since then we won’t be here.
That we have peace, we can go everywhere we want…

The first time I visited kirikiri prison, I followed on of our elder Pastor there, and I have told some of you before.
I saw a young man, at the keyboard as he was playing he was dancing, he was dancing.
So I asked, I said to the elderly Pastor, I whisper to him because he has been going before, I said that boy is so full of joy, abi they are going to release him next week?
He said, no, he is here for life.
Haa! I said I want to know his story.
He said well, he had a quarrel with his friend, they were good friends, they just had a quarrel, and then in anger he slapped his friend and the friend fell down and died.
So they arrested him, accused him of murder, and they were going to sentence him to death.
But when they reveal the case, they were friends, they have not even had a quarrel before not even misunderstanding, they were good friends.
Is an accident, so, they said ok, life imprisonment.
How many times have you gotten angry, that you could have done something so that today now you will be playing organ at kirikiri?
But you are free, you are here by the special grace of God – let me hear shout hallelujah!
Haa! Some of this things you don’t understand, it takes God to explain it to you.
That you are not in an Asylum today is by the grace of God.
And I can give you examples, because when I tell stories is because I have seen a lot, that is why I am always saying thank You Jesus.
I mean some people were just… it started as a joke, and the people were saying to the people around, please help us catch him, we don’t know what is wrong with him.
It was a joke, before you knew what was happening, the people around grabbed the fellow and as they were grabbing him, he was saying there is nothing wrong with me, leave me alone, don’t mind them, he landed in Aro.
I don’t know if have ever been to Aro, it takes grace of God to work there.
Because if you spent enough time with those mad people, you yourself won’t even be sure whether you are sane or not: It took the special grace of God.
He was struggling, they thought he must be mad and so they wanted to calm him down before he knew it, injections were already going into the body.
Haa! Thank God you are free.
Thank God you are free!
Let me hear you shout hallelujah.
Regardless of where you are today, you owe God a thanksgiving.
He has been good to you.
The fact that you are still breathing is enough.
So, that is why Psalm 150:6 says let all that has breath praise the Lord.
If you are still breathing let me hear you shout hallelujah.
Thank You Father.
The Lord says there is some here tonight, He said, you will know you are the one as soon as I finish, He said your home use to be heaven on earth before the intruder came, He ask me to tell you, He will chase out the intruder and return heaven to your home.
Thank You Father.
Even if we just praise Him, He will speak to us.
He inhabits the praise of His people, He will draw near and when He draws near He speak.
He says there is someone here tonight he says you will understand, He said Amman was hung on the gallows he prepared for Mordecai, He said that will be your testimony.
Now, gratitude for what has been done in the past helps to open doors for future miracles.
The elders have a saying, if a child is grateful for what is done yesterday, he will receive new ones – Absolutely true!
What is happening in your life today is a product of what happened yesterday.
Yesterday is the mother today.
I can go through the Scriptures and show you.
Maybe I will just give you one example.
There is somebody called Judah.
When his father was about to die and he was talking to his children about their future, in Genesis 49:8-10.
He said Judah you are the one your brethren will praise.
He said a ruler will never cease out of Judah.
Today we called Jesus Christ the Lion of the tribe of Judah.
When you get to read the whole Genesis 49 and you see his father talking to his children.
He said Reuben you are my first born, you will amount to nothing.
He says this one, this one, this fellow, you will be scattered.
Then, he came to Judah and say, Judah, your brethren will praise you.
Why?
Because somewhere in the past Judah did something; at the time when the brother gathered together and say let use kill Joseph and they threw Joseph into the pit…
If you read Genesis 37:26-27, it was Judah who said, in an attempt to rescue this boy from people who want to kill him.
Don’t let us kill him, let sell him.
At least, you will make some money let us sell him.
He was the one who sold Joseph into his destiny.
He was the one who rescued Joseph from those who would have killed him and heaven noted.
So when the time came for him to receive his blessing, God says, the same brothers who agreed with you then they will praise you.
He says you; you will be the ruler among them all.
The past is the mother of the present.
Why the father of Reuben did says, Reuben you will amount to nothing? Because Reuben went in with wife or the concubine of his father.
The father heard it and kept quiet, he said no problem, one day would be one day.
Now, the past is mother of the present – wonderful!
But, far far more serious than that, is that, the present is the mother of the future.
Do you know that what you do today is going to determine what is going to happen to you tomorrow?
Do you know that how much you praise God today, may force open certain doors that have been shut again you?
Do you know that is just one shout is what brought the wall of Jericho?
Do you know it is a shout of hallelujah?
Why do you think that farmers keep on planting?
Because what they are eating today they planted it last year, and so if they are to eat next year, they plant this year.
The present is the mother of the future.
That is the foundation of what we called the law of harvest.
You know the law of harvest; Galatians 6:7-9.
And you know 2 Corinthians 9:6, you sow sparingly, you reap sparingly.
Whatever you sow now is what is going to produce the harvest of the future.
The present is the mother of the future.
Now, why must I really really really thank God?
It is because God controls all – past, present, future.
He is the Controller of all.
Thank You Father.
God is speaking to some special people tonight.
He says that there is someone here, He said, your end of year had always witness one tragedy or the other, He ask me to tell you, this year will be different.
Revelation 1:8 says, Jesus Christ says I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the One who is, the One who was, the One who is to come, the Almighty.
He controls the past, He controls the present, He controls the future.
That is why 2 Corinthians 5:17, you know it very well, says if any man be in Christ he’s a new creature, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.
What exactly is that one saying?
He can erase the past, He can look at all the evil you did in the past that you are harvesting now.
He can just go to your past and wipe it out.
Because there are some things you did in the past that are hindering your progress now.
But God can go to the past and it will be as if you never did those things.
I mean, the first time I read 2 Corinthians chapter 7 verse 2, I laughed.
Paul said we have wrong no man; I said, haa! Paul! (Laughing), you are the chairman the day they were killing Steven, at least that one is on record – you supervise the killing of Steven (I know that one).
So don’t tell me I wrong no man, at least you wrong one fellow.
But the Almighty God said no no no, the one who killed Steven died on the road to Damascus – A new fellow came.
Haa glory be to God forever more.
If God does not erase the past, if He hasn’t got the ability to erase the past; If He has not erased my past, I shouldn’t be standing before you preaching.
I don’t want to spend time telling so many stories, but you have heard some of it before.
Adeboye! You! A Pastor! Haha! You will pray and God will answer! You!
But if any man be in Christ is a new creature.
How many of you are here that are truly born again? Let me see your hand.
How many of you believe that by the special grace of God the blood of Jesus has wiped away your terrible past?
Open your mouth and shout hallelujah to Him.
He controls the past, and He controls the future – He can change the future.
He can say this is what is planned for your future but I change My mind.
And who can challenge Him.
He is the original Kabiesi, He is the original sovereign God.
He said to Eli, 1Samuel chapter 2 verse 30, He said I said indeed that you and your father’s house will stand before me forever, but now I say be it far from me. He says I change my mind.
He said you don’t like what I have said, He said sue me.
He controls the past, He controls the present, He controls the future – if you are wise, you will learn to praise Him so that He can completely forget your past and make your future glorious.
Oh! When you learn to be grateful to God, He can move you from level to level.
I will just mention a few, I want to be very brief tonight, because I still have another work later in the night.
Gratitude to God can move you from healing to wholeness.
Let me just take one example, Luke 17 will be enough.
Luke 17 verse 12 to 19. Jesus cleanse ten lepers, only one came back to say thank You loudly, he did not say it quietly – he said it loudly, everybody will hear him, and Jesus said to him, go, your faith has made thee whole.
But he was already healed!
Yeah! There is a different between being healed and being made whole.
Wounds may heal, but scars remain.
But when God decide to make you whole, there will be no scars left.
You will remember the story of Naaman, 2Kings chapter 5 verse 1 to 14.
When God healed Naaman, the Bible says his skin came to him like that of new born baby: there was no trace that he was a leper before – he was made whole.
Some of you are familiar with this testimony.
Years ago I just returned from America, and then one of my daughters came to me and said her grandmother is sick, she went to the hospital and they operated on her, because of her old age, the wound refuse to heal.
So that, because she was from a wealthy family, they put her is a special room.
Any time she ate the food was coming out of the stomach, because the wound refuse to heal, and the Doctors were just… she was old, so, the Doctors were just waiting for when she pass off.
And this my daughter said, please come and pray for my grandmother.
I say haa, I am too tired, I can’t go to Port-Harcourt but bring me an handkerchief.
She brought handkerchief, I prayed over it, I say take to your grandmother, lay it on her and then let see what God will do.
She went.
I was talking by faith, she took me by faith; she took the handkerchief, laid it on grandma and went away, came back the following day, they couldn’t even find where the operation was done.
Not only was she healed, she was made whole.
To be made whole means there is no trace of sickness of any type in your body.
It is possible for you to be healed of fever, and then some of the tablets you take begin to give you stomach off set, that might be healing fever but that is not wholeness.
I believe that there is someone here tonight, who for the rest of his or her life will not even no anything called hake, or pain, or sickness – which is going to be whole.
If you are that one let me hear you shout hallelujah to God.
Thank You Daddy!
Today He is just talking to those who will understand, He said there is some here tonight, He said you will understand, when I tell you that your arresters have been arrested.
Gratitude to God for what He has done in the past, can move you from where wealthy to flourishing.
In other words, you are already rich, you are already wealthy and plenty and you think you are already there.
But if you learn to be grateful, He can show you that what you are calling wealth is nothing at all.
2 Chronicles chapter 1, you can read it from verse 6 to 15, the Bible said Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings to God; anybody who can sacrifice thousands cows in one day, he’s not a poor man – not a poor man at all.
After he did that one, because when he was doing it the Priest was wandering what’s wrong with you, why are you doing all this?
He said haa! I am grateful to God. I am grateful to God that He brought me thus far.
My father was an adulterer; my mother was an adulteress, and adulteress of the worst type that led to the death of her husband. My father was not just an adulterer but a murderer, and the two of them combine and they produced me, and yet God loved me, and made me a king – he said let me thank Him, let me thank Him.
That night, God paid him a visit and said okay now son, I give a blank check.
Anything you want just ask.
He said haa! God, You have done a lot for me, You have done much. Just give me wisdom so that I can take care of Your people.
God says is that all you ask for? He said yes.
He said okay I give it to you, then I give you something you’ve not ask for.
The Bible says in the days of Solomon, silver became like ordinary stone – ordinary stone.
They bring silver to him, he will say go and dump it at the backyard.
I have said it again and again, only now some of my children have beginning to have enough faith to receive it.
I said there are some of you my children, as the Lord lives one day, when your workers bring in the takings for the day, you will tell them that, but I told you people, any money less than one thousands, five hundred, naira denomination, don’t bring it near me at all.
Thousand naira you can bring, five hundred naira you can bring that, but two hundred and below don’t let me see it: I don’t want to see, you just go and share.
Some of you don’t believe it can happen.
I have told you, mark my word, it might be one of you, it might be two, it might be three, a day is coming when you take your money to the bank the bank will close to outside customer for three days.
Alright, some of you don’t believe some of these things but wait, it will come to pass.
I told you the story of one of my son who incidentally sew this my jacket; he became my tailor when I became General Overseer.
He said daddy I don’t have money, but am good at sewing, if you can buy the material I will sew for you but that is good enough, and then I said to him, take my word, you called yourself poor tailor, I said a day is coming when you take your money to the bank the Manager will send for you I say, what job do you say you are doing?
He just smiled.
It was too hard for him to say amen.
But then one day, the One who can open a door and nobody can shut it, open a door for him and they just decide to pay him in cash, and he carried the money to the bank, and the Manager says I want to see this man.
The Manger says, are you not the one who says you are a tailor? And he said yes.
You mean your tailoring brought in this, haa! You better believe it.
He left the bank and came straight to me – daddy the day has come.
I prophesy to someone here today, very very soon, you will come to me and say, the day has come.
When you learn to be grateful, He can move you from blessed to overwhelm.
Just one example 1Samuel chapter 2 verse 1 to 21 – It was the story of Hannah.
They said Hannah can’t have a child.
The adversary, the second wife of the husband, was always mocking her.
Hannah cried to God one child – just give me one child, one son and I will give him back to you.
I don’t mind living along I just want it to said: I too gave birth.
Then the baby came and Hannah began to sing; you will see that song in 1 Samuel chapter 2, and she began to praise God, she began to magnify Him, she began to show her gratitude.
You know what! God gave her additional five children.
She asked for just one, God said I will surround you with children; and that will be the testimony of one lady here in Jesus’ name.
Ingratitude on the other can move someone from the highest height to lowest level.
Ooooh! Thank You my Father.
Now, this time He is talking to me, so I can say amen to it before I tell you.
Because He says there is someone here today, He said because you have decided to praise me, I will levy the road before you.
Thank You Daddy.
Amen and amen. Daddy says generational curses and generational blessings; He says there is some here today, that generational curse in your family shall be replaced with generational blessings.
Ingratitude: when you are not grateful – can bring somebody from the highest height to the lowest level.
Probably we just take one example.
1 Samuel 15 verse 13 to 23, is the story of king Saul.
He was a king, God picked him, he himself knew he wasn’t even fit to be a king.
The day they were going to enthrone him they went into hiding, but God fished him out and made him a king.
When he became a king and he became a big man, oh oh, and then who needs God again? And you know the end result.
God said well, if I make you a king and you forget me, I will take away My kingdom away from you, no problem.
That will have been terrible enough that the king is no longer a king, the champion is no longer a champion.
And I pray for every one of you here today, you will never become an ex-champion.
He began to disobey God, the Prophet of God told him you are small in your own eyes when God made you the head of a nation, how come now you have forgotten Him.
God says okay! If it is the way you wanted it to be, I take away My kingdom from you. But, it didn’t end there.
1Samuel 16 verse 14, when the Spirit of God departed from him, an evil spirit from the Lord began to trouble him.
The King became a mad man, why? Ingratitude.
How do we know that king Saul was not grateful?
Haa! You know the story.
One day, David who replaced him was dancing before God, and he was really really digging it; he wasn’t dancing like some of you – personality dance, he was really really digging it, so much so his stomach came out of his garment.
And then, the daughter of Saul, the wife of David said unto him, look at you, a whole king, she was thinking of the way her father used to do her own.
Look at you a whole king dancing like ordinary people.
Haa! And David said, hello sister, you haven’t seen anything yet, he said I was dancing like ordinary person, he said, what I am?
I am ordinary shepherd, is God who find me, took the kingdom from your father and gave it to me.
You think I want what happen to your father to happen to me.
He said you haven’t seen anything yet.
And I know there is somebody here tonight for the rest of your life you are going to be on top.
But you won’t be one of those who have become so big that when we say let’s praise God you won’t open your mouth.
You will become one of those who have become so big that when we say let’s dance for God they can move – you will be like David.
I think I told those who came for Divine Encounter on Monday and I will encourage you to get the tape, not that I want to sell tapes ooo, there are things there that you want to hear.
I said years ago I went to visit one of my members, the person is gone to be with the Lord now, and he was called Brother Odus.
We went to his house and when I got there I saw one of the children downstairs and Brother Odus was upstairs in his room.
The child ran upstairs, papa, papa, one of the Pastors has come, Papa said which of them, he said, the one that dances, and the father said I know the one; so when he came, he said I know it is you.
How I which they could say about you – I know that brother, I know that sister, when it is time to praise God, he is different, he dances.
I pray for some here today, for the rest of your life, God will give you something to dance about.
Let me begin to round up.
How do we know grateful people?
Because if I say how many of you are grateful now? all hands will go up.
But, how do we know them? How do we know those who are grateful?
Number one: They testify.
What do they do?
They testify.
You know when we say it is testimony time, and many people with big testimonies they are too big to testify.
They can’t take the problem of going to talk to the Pastors about…, no no no, let small children testify.
Haa!
1 Samuel chapter 17 verse 34 to 37, David said, I was keeping my father sheep, a lion came took one of the lamp from the flock; a bear follow, he also took, I grab each one by the bear, I smote them, I killed them.
The God who delivered me, he didn’t say –it is my power now, from the jaw of the lion and bear, He will deliver me from Goliath.
Grateful people always testify, they tell people what God has done.
And so, they witness. They tell everyone about Jesus Christ.
They tell about His faithfulness.
The same David said, Psalm 89 verse 1, he said I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever and with my mouth will I make know His faithfulness to all generations.
Grateful people cannot stay for one week without witnessing – they can’t help it.
And there are some people here tonight who have not witness to a single soul since the beginning of the year.
You know what that means?
Am sorry to say, it means you an ingrate – that is a strong word but it is the truth.
David said I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
And the he went further and say, magnify the Lord with me; you know what he is saying? Come and join me.
Come to church with me next Sunday, let’s come and bless His name together.
Grateful people are incurable soul winners they can’t keep quiet – they just cannot keep quiet.
You don’t beg grateful people to win souls, they can’t help it – they can’t help it.
Those of you who are old would probably hear of me talk about one of my sons called Brother Moses; he’s gone to be with the Lord now.
You enter the same taxi with bother Moses, haa! You will be saved before the taxi drops you. Because the moment you seat down – you are welcome;
Do you know that Jesus want to save your soul?
Do you know that Jesus Christ has the answer to all your problems?
Do you know…, and you know why?
Because he was saved, and he knows what God did for him.
Because before his salvation, when Brother Moses comes home on holidays, everybody in the village will tell their children you must not step out.
Why? Because Brother Moses has come.
He had sex with chicken, he had sex with dogs, he was just bad.
And then Jesus saved his soul, wipe away his past, and he became a new creature, and now when Brother Moses goes home, children gather round him as he begin to teach them choruses.
He said how can I keep quiet.
Mark chapter 1 verse 40 to 45, tells us about the mad man.
Somebody who was sick, Mark 1:40 to 45, a leper, he’s a leper.
A leper came to Jesus, I know you have the ability to make me clean, if you are interest. Jesus said, I am interested; He touched him and cleansed.
And Jesus said don’t tell anyone, don’t say I healed you.
(Laughing) He laughed. How can I keep quiet?
He went everywhere telling everyone come and see the man who healed me, come and see the man who healed me, I was a leper, Jesus healed me.
The Bible says he makes so much noise, Jesus cannot even walk freely in the street anymore; people were rushing to Him; one leper was healed.
You know the reason why some of us are sick, He has healed us in the past, we didn’t testify. He has healed us before we didn’t bring anybody to Christ, we have not won a single soul in a year.
In spite of everything that have said about what God is going to do in December, there are some of you who won’t even open your mouth to tell anyone, you won’t.
Have told you that if you will do God’s work, show Him how grateful you can be.
Haa! He will do your own.
I share with you a testimony of a brother, who just decide on a particular day, this brother is a Soldier, and had an accident several years or so, and broke several bones, and in order to keep in going they have to give him and iron rod in his body.
And that thing has been causing him pain for years; and he just love to win souls.
And then one particular day, he just decided he is going to win souls from morning till evening: he work hard telling people about Jesus Christ, giving them hand bills, etcetera, etcetera.
Finally, he got home very tired, and God spoke to him clearly, son, thank you, You have done My own, let Me now do your own; lay down and sleep.
He lay down, and slept.
When He woke up, the iron rod that was in his body, that has been causing him so much pain was lying by his side on the bed.
I won’t lie to you, no blood.
Why?
When God operated on Adam to bring out Eve, there was no blood.
God is the original Surgeon.
If God knows that here is going to be a somebody who is going to be a soul winner for Me, who will do My own, He will do your own – He will.
When He touched the leper, He knew He was breaking His own law, the law of God says you don’t touch a leper, if you touch a leper, you will become unclean.
But God say no no this one is different; I know this one is going to win souls for me. You know the other one.
Just one more example and then we would pray.
Luke chapter 8 from verse 26 to 40, talks about the mad man of Gadarene, I always talked about him, he was mad, so mad, mad people called him mad – he was mad mad.
And then he saw Jesus Christ, and even with all his madness he still knew he has to worship God.
He was even grateful, though he was mad, he was grateful that he was still alive, grateful at least he was still living somewhere even it is grave yard, and God set him free.
Then, the people around saw him free, seating down at the feet of Jesus Christ, cloth in his right mind and they were afraid.
So they came to Jesus and say please go away from us we have not seen this kind of power before, go.
Okay! Jesus Christ I will leave and as He was about to go and the man came to him, please I want to go with You.
Jesus said, no no, I have an assignment for you, go back and tell your people about what God has done.
Read that passage, make sure you read that passage.
The Bible says that the man went round everywhere; everywhere telling them about what Jesus has done, by asking them you should have come to Jesus, you shouldn’t have driven Him away, He is such a wonderful person.
The Bible says when Jesus Christ returned to the same place, the whole city was waiting to receive Him because one man has shown his gratitude by telling others.
God has been good to you, I know it.
You may say He has done enough, but at least you are still alive.
I know there might still be some problems in your life, but I know He is solution, and He is nearly waiting for you to do His own, so He can do your own.
If only you can made up your mind from now; I will no longer be an ingrate; I will tell everyone from now on about Jesus. Nothing is going to close my mouth.
The worst thing they will do when you say come with me to church is to say I am not coming – that’s all; that is the worst they can do.
But they are people who have been watching you, waiting – when are you going to invite me to the Holy Ghost service? When are you going to invite me to your church?
They are waiting for the invitation, they are there in your place of work, in your compound, and there are thousands of people surrounding, just waiting to here.
One Brother was saying something to me, I met him somewhere last month, and he said one day, my cousin was sharing her testimony, he said I nearly which that the ground will open his mouth and swallow me.
I said, why?
He said the sister had been barren for years, I think it was either 54 or 56 years old, I can’t remember, and the sister finally got a child, and when she was sharing the testimony, she said I have brother, who is a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, he never invited me, it was somebody else who brought me to the camp, and the day I came to the camp God answered my prayers.
He said I was seating down there.
I which the ground will open so that I can go and hide, because everybody knew she was talking about me.
How many of you will want Almighty God to make you whole – Not just heal you but to make you whole?
How many of you want Him to move you from nothing to absolutely overflowing abundance?
How many of you want Him to turn the tide totally against your enemy?
How many of you who say from now on I will be grateful to Him?
Because in the text that we read, the enemies have gathered round the children of Israel, they were about to close in, but then as Samuel was raising an Ebenezer to God, the Bible says, God turned on the enemy.
When you learn to be grateful to God, He will keep the enemy subdued under your feet.
My children once ask me, Daddy we hear that many nights you go out at 11p.m and at times you don’t come until around five in the morning, what are you praying about?
I said haa! Prayer!
They said yes.
What are you asking God for?
I said ninety five percent of the time, am only thank Him, am only thanking Him for what He has done; that is why He is doing more – that’s why He is doing more, because I am always saying thank You, thank You for yesterday, thank You for last year, thank You for last Holy Ghost service, thank You…
That is why He is doing more, that’s why He is doing more.
And I know that God brought you here tonight to change your life, to put a new song in your mouth.
But will you be grateful to Him?
Will you begin to win souls for Him, on a daily basis?
Do His own and He will do your own.
In conclusion, how do we know those who are ungrateful?
They stay in sin.
What do they do? They stay in sin.
What is sin?
Sin simply means disobedience (plain language).
God told Adam and Eve, don’t eat this fruit.
They disobeyed; they ate it – that’s sin; that is a sin!
So, you stay in sin, it means you are an ingrate.
Haa! You know the commandment of Jesus Christ, go bear fruits, let your fruits abide, that is the commandment. You say I am not going to do it that is sin.
He said surrendered your life to me so that I can make you vessel unto honour.
You say, No, leave me alone, I want to live the way I like, that is sin.
But He is here tonight to wipe away your tears.
He is here tonight to save your soul and to wash you clean from all your sins.
So if you are here tonight and you have not yet giving your life to Jesus Christ, come quickly, come and surrender your life to Him, there is power mighty in His blood and that blood can cleanse you from all sins and turn you unto vessel unto honour in the hand of God.
So, if you want to give your life to Jesus, come.
I will count from one to fifteen because I can see some of you very far away.
So, before I say fifteen, make sure you are standing here, so that I can pray for God to save your soul.
Am counting now
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, do you know it takes only grateful people to clap for Jesus? It takes grateful people to clap for Him. Nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen …
Now those of you already in the front begin to talk to Jesus.
Ask Him to have mercy on you, ask Him to forgive all your sins, ask Him to save your soul tonight, ask Him to write your name in the Book of Life.
And those of you who are still in the way, pray as you come along, and then hurry up hurry up because I will soon be praying.
Just cry to Jesus as you come that He please forgive your sins, save your soul, wash you clean in His blood, so that you can have a brand new beginning; and the rest of us let’s stretch forth our hands towards this people and pray for them, that the Almighty God who saved our souls will save their own souls also. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God on their behalf. Pray for them brethren.

Saviour we bless Your name. We thank You for Your word, we thank You for these people that have come forward to surrendered their life to You. Father, remember Your promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will know wise cast out, these people have come unto you now Father, please receive them in Jesus’ name, forgive them in Jesus’ name, have mercy on them in Jesus’ name, save their souls tonight in Jesus’ name, let Your blood wash away their sins in Jesus’ name, please write their names in the Book of Life in Jesus’ name, Lord don’t let them go back to the world in Jesus’ name.
Father I pray, that from now on, anytime they call on You, You will answer them by fire and let them serve You till the end.

Now congratulations, because from now on by the grace of God I will be praying for you, and very soon you will be receiving miracles – even those you didn’t pray for, and then you will know somebody is praying for you somewhere.

Your prayer number one tonight is just to be to praise God. You have not done that enough. You must really really praise Him.
And number two, you will say, Father, please forgive me for not being grateful enough.
Number three, say, Father, please give me the grace to be continuously grateful.
Number four. Father, please let me be a serious soul winner from now on.
Number five. Father, please don’t let me end with this year. I will win souls for you Lord, please spare my life. I will win souls for You, don’t let me end with this year.
Number six. Father, let the rest of this year be full of good news for me. Since have made up my mind now, every day, every day I will witness for You, so, let the rest of this year be full of good news for me.
Then Number seven is going to be your own individual prayer. You look back your life, all that God has done for you, you will know how to thank Him enough.
This morning we are not going to pray for too long, like I said, I still have another service after this one. Just fifteen minutes but make sure you pray to God from the bottom of your heart.
The altar is open, you can go ahead and begin to talk to God now.
Hold your hand together with your neighbour, hold someone to your left, hold someone to your right and pray with all your heart and say, Father, whatever is blocking the mouth of my neighbour please deal with it tonight. Go ahead talk to the Almighty God. Whatever is blocking the mouth of my neighbour preventing him from witnessing for You, for winning souls for You; whatever is blocking the mouth of my neighbour deal with it tonight, deal with it tonight, deal with it tonight, deal with it tonight. Every reproach blocking the mouth of my neighbour deal with it tonight God, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Now you speak to God on behalf of your neighbour, you will say Father, since my neighbour from now on will be winning souls for you, every one of his miracles that is hanging, release tonight. Let’s talk to the Almighty God.

The One who can do all things, the One who controls the past, the present and the future will answer your prayers.
In all ways that you have being ungrateful to Him, receive forgiveness tonight.
The grace to become a serious incurable soul winner receives it tonight.
And because you have decided that from now on every day you will witness for Jesus, every reproach in your life will be dealt with tonight.
Whatever is not allowing you to open your mouth wide to talk about Jesus shall disappear tonight.
Whatever anybody could see in your life that will cause them to say where is your God, they will disappear tonight.
As you begin to witness for Jesus Christ continuously may your joy begin to overflow.
As you begin to win souls for Jesus Christ seriously may you begin to shine.
May the Almighty God move you from glory to glory, from blessing to blessing, from success to success, from progress to progress.
And because you have decided you are going to witness for Jesus on a constant basis, any evil left in this year will stay away from you.
Every day of your life now you will hear good news, you will live long, you will live strong, you will live healthy, you will leave wealthy, you will live successful. God will send evil far away from your home, it shall be well with you, you shall be a vessel unto honour, so shall it be.

The Words Of Today’s Bible Reading Should Bring Joy To The Heart Of Every Believer In Christ. They Reveal That Everything About God’s Plan For Your Life Has Been Settled Long Before The Foundation Of The World Was Laid. If This Is True, It Means That The Things You Have Experienced In The Past, All You Are Currently Going Through And Everything You Will Experience In The Future Are No Accidents; Rather, They Are Designed To Help You Fulfil God’s Purpose For Your Life. No Wonder Romans 8:28 Says:
“And We Know That All Things Work Together For Good To Them That Love God, To Them Who Are The Called According To His Purpose.”
If God Has Called You To Fulfil His Plan For Your Life, Everything He Allows To Come Your Way, Both Good And Bad, Will Work In Your Favour, Even Though On The Surface, They May Not Appear To Be Working In Your Interest. In Fact, Some Situations Might Appear So Contrary And Terrible, But In God’s Overall Plan For Your Life, They Are Adding Up To Something Great For You.
Let’s Look At The Example Of Joseph. He Was Born Quite Late By His Beloved Mother, And So He Became His Father’s Favourite Son. His Father Made Him A Coat Of Many Colours, Which Was A Prophetic Connotation Of Where God Was Taking Him. God Gave Him A Dream For His Life, And His Envious Brothers Hated Him For It. Joseph’s Dream Was Not Just A Desire Or A Goal He Set For Himself; It Was God’s Plan For His Life. Do You Know That Some People Can Be Envious Of You Because Of God’s Plan For Your Life? If Every Believer Knew What God Had Planned For Each Of Them, And Accepted His Plan, There Would Be No Room For Envy. Furthermore, Notice That Even Though God Had A Great Plan For Joseph’s Life, He Still Experienced Great Troubles. His Troubles Even Started Right From Home. Nevertheless, If You Take A Look At His Life, You Will See How All The Experiences Of His Life Helped To Take Him To God’s Destination.
If His Brothers Were Not Envious Of Him, They Would Not Have Sold Him Into Slavery. If He Was Not Sold Into Slavery, He Would Never Have Become Potiphar’s Servant. If He Was Not Potiphar’s Servant, He Would Never Have Met Potiphar’s Wife. If He Had Not Met Potiphar’s Wife, She Would Never Have Lied Against Him. If She Had Not Lied Against Him, He Would Not Have Gone To Prison. If He Did Not Go To Prison, He Would Not Have Met Pharaoh’s Imprisoned Servants, And If This Had Not Happened, Nobody Would Have Recommended Him To Pharaoh. Beloved, Like Joseph, Everything Is Working Out For Your Good! Go Ahead And Thank God For This.

All-Round Security Is Of Utmost Importance To Human Beings. From A Human Viewpoint, The Issue Of Security Starts From Concerns Over The Inner Peace Of An Individual, To Security Issues Within The Family, And Then To The Safety Of Life And Property In The Larger Society. In Every Society, People Invest Huge Amounts Of Money On Security And Insurance, As A Means Of Guaranteeing Protection Or Safety. Some Even Invest In Expensive Offerings And Sacrifices To Appease The Devil For Protection And Security. Yet, Man Has Not Been Able To Check The Tide Of Natural Disasters And Tragedies Of Different Categories For Two Major Reasons. First, Revelation 12:12b Says:
“Woe To The Inhabiters Of The Earth And Of The Sea! For The Devil Is Come Down Unto You, Having Great Wrath, , Because He Knoweth That He Hath But A Short Time.”
The Vicious Anger Of The Devil Is Clearly Seen In His Determination To Steal, Kill And Destroy (John 10:10). I Decree That As The Devil Continues To Unleash His Wrath On The Earth, You Will Be Securely Protected Under The Shadow Of The Almighty In The Name Of Jesus.
Secondly, Security Is Of The Lord, The Omnipotent And Omniscient God, The Lord Of Hosts Himself. That Is Why Psalm 127:1 Says:
“Except The Lord Build The House, They Labour In Vain That Build It: Except The Lord Keep The City, The Watchman Waketh But In Vain.”
All Power Belongs To God, And He Has Deployed His Power To Watch Over His People. God Is Ever Ready, And Nothing Can Escape His Notice Or Happen Without His Knowledge (Psalm 121:4). God’s Promises Regarding Security And Insurance Are So Vast That They Cover Virtually Every Area Of Life (Psalm 121:8). Besides Protection Against Natural Disasters, Weapons Of Your Enemies And Plans Of The Devil, God’s Promises On Security Also Guarantee Longevity For Your Life (Psalm 91:10-11). This Season, The Lord Will Keep Your Soul, And Every Plan Of Your Enemies Shall Be Frustrated In Jesus’ Name.
The Lord Will Satisfy You With Long Life And You Will Not Die Before Your Time. However, You Must Meet With Certain Conditions In Order To Claim These Wonderful Promises For Your Life. You Must First Be Born-Again; This Puts You On The Same Side With God (John 3:3). You Must Continually Dwell Under The Shadow Of The Almighty (Psalm 91:1). Also, You Must Love Him Above Every Other Thing And Obey Him Completely In All Things.

Mark_9-23-1: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth
Jesus Is The Way Into The Very Presence Of God (John 14:6). Through Him, We Have Access To The Blessings Of The Abrahamic Covenant (Galatians 3:14). How Much Of These Blessings Have You Received? Jesus Christ Is Also The Way Forward In Life; He Is The Way Where None Exists. After The Children Of Israel Left Egypt, At God’s Command, They Stopped At The Red Sea. While They Were By The Red Sea, The Egyptians Came Chasing Hard After Them. From The Look Of Things, They Had Reached Their Wits’ End. They Could Not Go Into The Sea, And They Could Not Turn Back Either (Exodus 14:1-18). They Began To Cry To Moses, And Moses Cried To God. The Lord Told Them To Go Forward. He Became The Way Across The Sea, And They Went Through. Are You Stuck Like The Israelites? Do You Feel You Have Exhausted All Known Avenues And Possibilities? Does It Appear There Is No Other Way Into Your Destination? Rejoice! There Is Still A Way In! Jesus Is The Way That Can Take You To Your Destination Where All Else Has Failed. He Will Surely Take You Into Your Place Of Joy, Blessing And Favour.
It Is Amazing To Know That The Lord Can Go As Far As Creating New Things In Old Situations In Order To Make A Way That Takes You To Your Place Of Desire. He Gave His Word Of Assurance On This In Isaiah 43:19:
“Behold, I Will Do A New Thing; Now It Shall Spring Forth; Shall Ye Not Know It? I Will Even Make A Way In The Wilderness, And Rivers In The Desert.”
As Long As The Way Works In Your Favour, Be Prepared To See New Things. If You Desire To Access Promotion, But All Existing Seats On Your Next Level Are Occupied, Invite The Way In. He Can Create A New Position For You. He Can Give Your Superiors The Idea Of A New Department And Move You Into It. There Is No Limitation To The New Things He Can Create Just To Make A Way For You. Have The Enemies Blocked The Way Into Your Expected Desire? The Lord Will Create A Fresh Way For You. He Will Do A New Thing That Will Accommodate Your Good Desires. As Long As You Have The Way With You, There Are Limitless Possibilities For You.

“Is Not This The Fast That I Have Chosen? To Loose The Bands Of Wickedness, To Undo The Heavy Burdens, And To Let The Oppressed Go Free, And That Ye Break Every Yoke?”
Isaiah 58:6
This Scripture Summarises The Fundamental Nature Of Restitution. Restitution Is The Undoing Of An Evil Deed. Bearing False Witness Against A Person, Family, Community, Institution, State Or Nation Is An Evil Deed That Can Have Devastating Effects. If You Have Been Involved In This, You Need To Restitute Your Ways.
Some Time Ago, A Man Died Under Some Mysterious Circumstances In A Polygamous Setting. Driven By Hatred For The Deceased’s First Son, The Deceased’s Younger Brother Compelled The Deceased’s Daughter To Falsely Accuse Her Step-Brother (The First Son) Of Killing Their Father, Before A Magistrate Court. She Yielded To This Evil Uncle Because He Had Threatened Her, Saying That If She Did Not Tell The Lie, The Whole Family Would Desert Her. In Spite Of This Evil Frame-Up, The Accused Was Discharged. However, His Uncle Did Not Let The Matter Rest; He Had His Nephew Arrested Again. Following This, The Matter Was Escalated To The High Court. Again, The Step-Sister Of The Accused Was Among The Witnesses Called Against Him. In Fact, She Was The Prime Witness Of The Prosecution.
Shortly Before The Commencement Of Proceedings In The Case, Those Connected To The Case Were Asked To Step Outside. The Lady Went Out, And Her Uncle Met Her To Rehearse The Lies She Should Say Before The Judge. Thereafter, Her Step-Brother, Who Was Her Age Mate And A Born-Again Christian, Also Came Outside The Courtroom, And They Got Talking. He Used This Opportunity To Lead Her To Christ. After She Had Accepted To Receive Jesus Christ As Her Lord And Saviour, And As He Was About To Lead Her Through The Sinner’s Prayer, The Judge Sent For Her To Return To The Courtroom And Give Her Sworn Testimony. However, Contrary To The Plans Made With Her Uncle, She Told The Truth That The Accused Was Innocent Of The Death Of His Father, Because She Was Under The Conviction Of The Holy Spirit. That Is Restitution. Although She Faced A Lot Of Persecution From Those Who Wanted Her To Sustain The Lie, She Stood Firm And Straightened Her Crooked Path. Do You Know That A Lot Of Innocent People Are Languishing In Prison Because A False Witness Testified Against Them? If You Have Testified Falsely Against Anybody In The Past, You Need To Undo That Wrong. If It Is A Sensitive Matter, Seek God’s Face By Praying And Fasting, And See Your Pastor For Counselling And Guidance On The Best Way To Go About It.

Deuteronomy_6-5: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
The Presence Of Love Can Be Perceived When It Is Demonstrated Through Giving. Love Does Not Only Give, It Gives Its Best. It Also Gives Sacrificially And Willingly. God Did Not Give His Only Begotten Son To The World Because He Was Forced To; He Gave Him Because He Wanted To (John 3:16). When He Came Into This World, The Son Followed The Example Of The Father. In John 15:13, He Said:
“Greater Love Hath No Man Than This, That A Man Lay Down His Life For His Friends.”
Even After The Son Accepted To Become A Man, Nobody Compelled Him To Die. He Voluntarily Laid Down His Life. He Willingly Did This As Proof Of His Love For God And Man (John 10:17-18).
If You Go Through The Scriptures, You Will Definitely Come Across Passages Where God Demanded That Those Who Professed Love For Him Should Prove It. One Of Such Cases Can Be Found In Today’s Bible Reading. The Word “Tempt” Used In Genesis 22:1 Is Actually “Test” In The Original Hebrew Text. God Does Not Tempt People, But Satan Does (James 1:13). However, God Can Test His Children To Evaluate The Quality Of Love They Have For Him. Although It Is On Record That Abraham Was A Friend Of God, God Still Wanted To Know If He Would Give Him His Best Sacrificially And Willingly. God Therefore Asked Abraham To Sacrifice His Only Son To Him. Abraham Did Not Argue; He Immediately Set Out On A Journey To Perform God’s Request. God Took Him On A Three-Day Journey To The Mountain Where The Sacrifice Would Be Carried Out, To Find Out If He Would Change His Mind Along The Way.
To Show His Willingness To Give Without Obstruction, Abraham Did Not Tell His Wife Or Isaac About The Sacrifice God Demanded From Him. If He Had Done So, Sarah Would Have Stopped Him From Fulfilling What God Wanted. It Is Also Possible That If Isaac Had Known About God’s Request Ahead Of Time, He Would Have Run Away. Today, When God Demands Something Sacrificial From Some People As Proof Of Their Love For Him, What He Gets Is Excuses. Such People Would Tell Their Spouses About God’s Demand, Fully Aware That They Would Vehemently Resist It. They Do This Because They Never Wanted To Give What God Was Asking For In The First Place. Thereafter, They Would Tell God That Although They Were Willing To Obey His Instruction, They Had To Back Out Because Their Spouse’s Disagreement With It Could Negatively Affect Their Home. What An Excuse! Do You Think That God Does Not See Into Your Heart To Know What Actually Led To Your Refusal Of His Request Other Than What You Claim?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Action Point:
Ask God For Grace Never To Fail The Tests He Puts You Through.

A Visit To A Person Can Be Classified As Casual, Ordinary, Occasional, Special Or Divine, Depending On The Identity Of The Visitor And Purpose Of The Visit. One Reason Why Visitation Is Desired Is The Fact That It Usually Involves The Exchange Of Pleasantries, Good Ideas, Vital Information And Gifts. Visitation Brings Joy To Those In Need, Especially The Fatherless And Widows. The Sick And Bereaved Are Also Encouraged And Strengthened Through It. People Generally Desire A Special Visitation By Someone Of A Far Higher Social, Political Or Financial Status, Because Such August Visitors Are Known To Bless People With Quality Ideas, Information And Gifts Commensurate To Their Status. Presidents Give Presidential Pardons, Handshakes And Gifts, While Kings And Royals Offer Royal Appointments, Gifts And Blessings. Beyond These, Divine Visitation Is An Unusual Privilege That God Doles Out To Show Special Love, Uncommon Grace And High Favour. I Prophesy To You That Heaven Will Pay You A Divine Visit Today In The Name Of Jesus.
Divine Visitation Is Greatly Rewarding And Therefore Highly Sought After. Whenever God Steps Into A Situation, Natural Laws Become Suspended, And Supernatural Laws Take Over Immediately. This Is Evident In Our Memory Verse. Israel Was In The Middle Of A Battle With The Amorites When Joshua Suddenly Recognised The Presence Of God. The Lord Of Hosts Himself Decided To Pay The Armies Of Israel A Visit. Knowing That Such A Divine Visitation Had Launched Him Into The Realm Of The Supernatural, Joshua Immediately Grabbed The Opportunity By Asking For The Impossible. Like Joshua, The Presence Of The Lord Will Launch You Into The Realm Of The Supernatural Today In Jesus’ Name. Divine Visitation Brings Immediate Fulfilment Of Long Standing Prophecies, As It Happened To Sarah (Genesis 21:1). Job Testified That In His Affliction, With His Body Terribly Battered, It Was Divine Visitation That Preserved His Spirit (Job 10:12). Also, In Zephaniah 2:7, The Bible Reveals That The Visitation Of The Lord Turns Away Captivity. Every Time The Manifest Presence And Glory Of God Is With His People, They Are Ushered Into The Realm Of The Supernatural. In This Atmosphere Of Miracles, All Challenges And Problems Turn To Testimonies. This Is Your Season Of Divine Visitation! Praise God And Tap Into It.

Acts_1-8: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
A Witness Is An Observer, Who Having Witnessed The Occurrence Of An Event, Gives A Full And Accurate Account Of What Happened. God Emphasises The Role And Importance Of Witnessing. He Has Also Given Detailed Instructions About The Conduct Of Witnesses, Whether In Evangelism, Legal Proceedings Or In General Affairs Of The Church. In Several Passages Of The Bible, God Repeatedly Called On Us To Be His Witnesses (Isaiah 43:12b, Luke 24:48). Most Importantly, Jesus In Acts 1:8 Said This To His Disciples:
“But Ye Shall Receive Power, After That The Holy Ghost Is Come Upon You: And Ye Shall Be Witnesses Unto Me Both In Jerusalem, And In All Judaea, And In Samaria, And Unto The Uttermost Part Of The Earth.”
This Confirms That One Of The Roles Of The Holy Spirit Is To Equip And Empower The Body Of Christ For The Purpose Of Witnessing. Therefore, Witnessing Is A Major Assignment Of The Church. The Role Of Christians As Witnesses Is Not Limited To Our Immediate Community; Rather It Extends To The Uttermost Parts Of The Earth.
Why Is Witnessing So Important That God Lays So Much Emphasis On It? First And Foremost, It Is To Prove Him As The Only True God Who Created All Things By His Wisdom And Determines The Course Of All Things (Acts 17:24-28). Whenever God Says “Ye Are My Witnesses“, It Is To Prove Him As A Covenant Keeping God Who Always Brings His Words To Pass In The Life Of His People (Numbers 23:19). The Emphasis On Witnessing Is Also To Prove That Human Disobedience Is Always As A Result Of Unbelief And Unwarranted Stubborn Rebellion. So, We Are To Constantly Testify Or Witness About Sin And Righteousness To Ourselves As Believers, And Against The Ungodly People Of This World (Isaiah 59:12, Matthew 24:14).
Finally, The Emphasis On Witnessing May Also Indicate A Systematic Build-Up Of Evidence Against Those Who Refuse To Accept Jesus As Lord And Saviour. Jude 1:15 Reveals That Heaven Will Present Convincing Evidence Against The Ungodly On The Day Of Judgement. Be Warned, Jesus Is Coming Soon!

Father, I Surrender All To You Today, Please Wipe Away All Evil Reports That Testify Against Me, And Help Me To Live Holy From This Day Onward In Jesus Name.
