1-Peter_2-24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed
“And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon”.
Leviticus 2:1 (KJV)
Notice that in our text “fine flour” is likened to Jesus, who like wheat, had been pounded, beaten, and sifted several times. The scripture reminds us of His sufferings and sacrifice for us. Like fine flour there is nothing harsh about Jesus. Everything about Him comes in equal proportions. Every word He spoke and every thought and action He took was fine and lovely.
