You shall be the head.

Let’s pray:
Eternal Rock of ages, we appreciate you for the opportunity and privilege you have given us to witness another beautiful day.
Thank you Lord in Jesus name we pray.

May the Lord God continue to enrich you with wisdom and anointing in Jesus name.

You shall be the Head
Deuteronomy 28:13 says, “And the LORD shall make thee the head.

Being the head is more of a responsibility than blessing.

There are sensory organs in the head and they are not for decoration. Let’s see some of them.

In the head is the Brain.
It takes brain to reason. Isaiah 1:18 says, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool”.
It takes “Head with brain” to be able to reason that with God, his sins can be washed away by the blood of Jesus.
A brain-less head will argue that blood is not soap whereas there is no medicated soap that can wash away sins except the blood of Jesus.

In the head are the two eyes.
In Luke 5, Peter the fisherman was blind to seeing the fishes in the ocean throughout the night, until Jesus told him to launch his net into the deep. He actually argued with the Master but thank God he later obeyed. The resultant effect of his obedience was a net breaking catch of fishes that he couldn’t single handedly carry.

In the head are two ears.
Revelation 2:17 says, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;…”
It takes ear to hear what the Spirit is saying.

In the head is a mouth.
Mark 16:15 says, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”.
It takes mouth to talk and preaching is mostly done talking.

It is not every physical head that is the head, some are just there as a compliment to the body also known as figurehead.
And that’s why we have so many people who cannot think straight. Their minds are bent already. That’s why there are people whose interest is to acquire the whole world, not only to oppress others, but at the expense of their own heaven.
They find it difficult to see reasons why they should lay their treasures in heaven.
They don’t see how payment of tithes will rebuke devourer in their lives.

It takes good head with spiritually discerned eyes to see what one can do to earn a living as against begging, fraud, stealing and burglary among others.
No wonder so many look but cannot see. The more they look, the less they see.

The Spirit is always talking, but in a stilled voice, teaching, comforting, counseling and warning among others, but it is only the head with ears that can hear and decode what the Spirit is saying.

God created mouth in the head but it is only the head that has the mouth that can preach the gospel, others are there to sing fuji, marlians and Fela among other worldly songs.

Brethren, it is not every head that is the head, some are just there.

God has promised to make you and I the head. He is not a liar. He has never lied and He won’t start now.
We have our part to play and that is to submit ourselves unto Him. To hearken diligently unto His commands.

Until we come to reason with Him and our sins are washed away, we cannot hearken unto His commands.

Have you come to Him? You have an opportunity to come to Him this morning, even where you are now. Just tell Him, here am I, save me.

Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for your promise to make me the Head and not the tail.

Father, please touch my brain with your hand so that I can reason very well and in accordance to your Word and commands.

Father, please heal the spiritual cataract in my eyes to enable me see the opportunities that surround me.

Father, touch my ears, heal me of spiritual deafness that hinders me from hearing what the Spirit is saying to me.

Father, open my mouth, let me sing a new song of Jesus saves, Jesus heals and Jesus is coming back, to the hearing of the unsaved.

Father, please make me the Head indeed.

Present your personal request to God now.

In Jesus name we have prayed.

Have a wonderful day ahead brethren

Maranatha
