“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22).
It’s Friday beloved. One person who had a good does of sorrow, dejection, disappointment, pain, failure, retrogression, marginalisation, poverty and disgrace was Jabez. He was born in sorrow and named after sorrow. As a result, the demons of sorrow went to bring in all other demons and they made him the headquarters of everything unpleasant. He started on a very bad note but he did not have to end the way he started.
If Jabez could have a change, you too can. He prayed and had an encounter that changed his life. You too can pray and encounter God in a way as to become honourable than honourables your nation can boast of. The Lord will rewrite your history. You started down, you will end on top. You began in lack, you will end in abundance in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.
Jabez prayed and had his breakthrough (1 Chron. 4:9-10). The 1st thing he said was, “O Lord bless me.” What does this mean? “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He added no sorrow with it.” He was asking God to meet his needs. God’s blessing is plus. Sorrow is a minus. The Great and Mighty God will add blessings to you and subtract your sorrows this season in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.
Why does God add and subtract at the same time? It is because if His blessing is released and there are still agents of sorrow in the life of that fellow, then the blessing will ebb away fast. He also asked God to bless him indeed. In other words he was asking for an immense blessing. Some blessings come but are hardly seen because they’re too small. Yet there are other blessings that cannot be hidden.
I pray, you can exceed Abraham’s wealth because you’re his seed. Are you tired of receiving the blessing that cannot be seen? Then call on the Lord for the blessing that cannot be hidden. It is for you today!
Remain blessed, saved and safe Kingdom connected heir with Christ Amen. Shalom.
