Daily Seed

Hymn: We plough the fields and scatter

Good morning Brethren.
Another blessed day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Father, we thank you for Your unfailing mercies, grace, and blessings.
We declare:
1.Nigeria; you will arise and shine again, for thy light is come.
2.All Prophesies of glory about Nigeria shall come to fulfillment in Jesus name,
3.I will eat the good of the land of Nigeria in Jesus name.
4.When the glory of Nigeria shall appear I and my family shall not disappear.
5.I thank you Father for your good plan for Nigeria and answer to our prayers.

Galatians:6 v7-9
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh, will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not lose heart.

Hosea 10 v12
I said ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you’. (NLT)

As we fast, pray and declare that a new dawn is imminent in our nation, let us pray today that we will each arise with a new resolve to do what is necessary. What we observe around us today is the result of deeds or omissions of past days and years. We will pray that in each of our immediate spheres of influence we will each day sow only seeds of righteousness. These daily seeds are those we hear, read, and know of, and are quite familiar with. Our prayer is just for the grace to daily be faithful doers of that which we know and profess.

Let us just very briefly recall the Word regards a few of these seeds, and then go on to pray:

GRATITUDE and APPRECIATION: Psalm 100 v 4-5, Philippians 4 v6 -7
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations Psalm 100 v 4 -5

TRUTH and HONESTY: Eph 6 v14, Prov 12v22, Ex 20 v 16
“The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy” (Prov 12 v22).

HARD WORK and DILIGENCE: Prov 12 v24, Ecc 9 v 10, Phil 3v14, Colossians 3 v23-24
“ And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality” (Col 2 v 23-24)

JUSTICE and FAIRNESS: Prov 11 v 1, Isaiah 1v17, Psalm 106 v 3
“Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight”. (Prov11v1)

RESPECT and HONOUR: 1 Peter2 v17, Ephesians 4 v1-3
“ I therefore beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace”.(Eph 4 v1-3)

PATIENCE and TOLERANCE: Psalm 37 v7-9, Romans 12 v 12, Hebrews 10 v 36
“Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, it only causes harm. For evil doers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. {Psalm 37 v7)

FORGIVENESS and KINDNESS: Ephesians 4v32, Galatians 6v9, Luke 6 v31
“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you”. (Eph 4 v32)

SERVICE to THE LORD: 1 Chron 28 v 9, Deut 13 v4, Joshua 24v15, 1 Corin 15v 58
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your Father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you: but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.”

LOVE: Mathew 22 v 37 -40, 1 Corin13 v 4-8
“Jesus said to him, ‘you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind’. This is the first and great commandment. ‘And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself’. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets”. (Mathew 22v 37 -40).

STUDY of the WORD: Joshua 1v 8, Psalm 1 v1-3, Romans 12 v 2
“This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and ten you will have good success.” (Joshua 1 v 8).

EVANGELISM: Mathew10 v7, Mathew 28 v19, Mark 16v15
“And He said to them, ’Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’.” (Mark16 v15).

PRAYER :1 Tess5 v16 -18, 1 John 5v14, 2 Chronicles7v14
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Tess 5v 16-18).

LET US PRAY: In Jesus name –

1.Father, we thank you for all the good seeds You make available and surround us with daily.

2.Father, we ask for grace to see, recognize and seize the opportunity to sow good seed daily. We ask for grace to eat only the bread, and sow wisely. To daily sow seeds of; gratitude, truth, hard work and diligence, patience, justice and fairness, kindness, study of the Word, evangelism, service to God, and prayer.

3.Father, we ask that You water every seed unto increase, bountiful harvest, and multiplication.

  1. Father, we ask for Your breath on all our daily seeds to aggregate the fruit to birth of a new nation, and an empowered Church to Your glory.
