Don’t Pray To Be A Better Slave!

There is a lot to learn from Israel but certainly not from their mindsets while they were slaves in Egypt because all they hoped for was to satisfy a tough-to-please Pharaoh; this led to them quarreling with Moses and Aaron for asking Pharaoh for their freedom!

Many of us live below our privileges because we seem to suspect that our demands could overwhelm God. Rather than get all that belong to us through the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary, we settle for crumbs to help us get by (Galatians 3:7, 13, 14, 16, 29).

Let’s take every limit off of our God and ask Him to fill our tanks (not our cups that can’t contain much) with His blessings. It’s far smarter to pray to be an employer of labor than to pray to be a better staff, especially of a cruel boss like Pharaoh.

Please remember to ask big from our big God – not popcorn, as a minister in my church often says. Make your requests always of a magnitude that shows you believe in the greatness of God henceforth. Stop praying for crumbs as though you are avoiding inconveniencing God (Psalm 78:41; Ephesians 3:20).

If you are yet to receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, do so today by saying this simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I believe you died for my sins. I receive you today as my Lord and Saviour. Take my life and do something with it”.

Friend, if you said that prayer sincerely, I believe you are now born again. You can get in touch with me via my DM and/or I look forward to hearing your testimony and assisting you with counselling that could help you in your new life with Jesus!

Blessings in Christ!
