No dormancy by Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze

“And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.” (Mark 11: 2)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

The colt that was mentioned in our Focal Scripture, was described as one on which no man had ever sat. So it was a colt that was not used by anyone. It was a colt that was idle. It was a colt which had potentials that could not be maximized. The people who tied the colt wouldn’t use it, and they wouldn’t let others use it. The colt lacked maximization of potentials.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every impediment stopping you from maximizing your skills and potentials, I command it to give way now. I command the chains that are limiting you to be broken. I command every satanic covering that is hindering you from doing more, to be torn to pieces. I command every conspiracy causing you to do less instead of more, to be scattered by the fire of God.

That colt had been tied for a while, unable to go anywhere or do anything; but thanks be to Jesus who showed up and caused it to become useful in the triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Jesus showed up, and the colt got a chance to maximize his potentials for once. Hear me as I hear the Lord: there will be a divine orchestration to position you for maximum expression of your potentials. You will no longer be dormant.

Every part of your life that has been dormant is awakened right now. Every dormant gift, talent, passion, vision, etc in you, I command it to come back to life. The days of being underutilized, are over. The days of watching others fill gaps while you do nothing, are over. The days of idleness are over. The days of operating below your destiny mandate, are over. The days of being content to sit and do nothing, are over.

Step into your season of more. Step into higher levels of relevance and influence. If God be for you, you will no longer be dormant.

2 Timothy 1: 6 says: “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.”

Declare With Me: No more dormancy, in Jesus’ name!
