TEXT: PSALM 46:1 – 11
Mark 5:36 – Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

These are, undoubtedly trying times for people all over the world. Coronavirus, also known as COVID – 19, is sweeping through the lives of individuals, families and nations as like with a vengeance. The phrase “fear not” is used at least eighty times in the Bible. This is not a time for panic, fear, unsubstantiated rumours, gloating, self-righteousness, unedifying jokes or being careless about our personal and public hygeine. What the world needs now is repentance, make peace with God Almighty and compliance with all safety and cleanliness measures as announced by approved authorities. This is to encourage us all to let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Heb 4.16
