Beware! Nobody knows the exact time or day of the coming of the Lord
Living Aware
…I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art
dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are
ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast,
and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee
as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee
Revelation 3:1b-3
The church of Sardis says they are alive, but they are dead. They have
an outward form and a profession, but that is all they have. There is
no power. There is nothing real about it whatsoever. This is a church that has moved from what God wanted it be and has become just a church
of forms, customs, show, and religion.
Nobody knows the exact time or day of the coming of the Lord. But note
that here He says that they wouldn’t even know what season or hour it
was. In other words, this church has moved so far away from any
revelation or understanding of the Spirit that they don’t even know
that it is the last days and that the return of the Lord is nigh. They
are just moving through their days, totally blind to all spiritual
truth and understanding.
Father,
I open my eyes and my heart to listen, to watch for Your ways. Thank
You for the faithfulness of those who bring me Your truth. I hear and
hold fast to You. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen!
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
